The place to stop at every trip to Berchtesgaden. If it is for a quick espresso on the run or a decent lunch with great home cooking on the lighter healthier side. Perfect to go straight back to work or on a hike. And not to forget the cakes for the afternoon tea or perfectly brewed coffee specialties. The cakes are baked like grandmas with the real stuff like butter and real cream. Strange to have to mention that there are still places where real food is in the food. Lovely cafe with excellent food and drink. Sadly let down by the service and attitude of the lady in charge. We felt very uncomfortable- no milk with coffee and when asked for some we were tutted. Asked for a knife for the baguette and was ignored. No bill given and waited a long tome to pay. Felt we were overcharged compared to advertised prices but just paid and left. Sadly...

A little nice cafe for breakfast or Kaffee & Kuchen. They served homemade cakes, some of them are vegan and gluten-free. The lady who served us was really nice and super friendly, we tried winter cappuccino and hot white chocolate, we loved it so much, especially the winter cappuccino.
