Spent 3 days in Berchtesgaden and enjoyed two wonderful dinner buffet here. The price was not the cheapest but the food, service and view were both great. They offered authentic Chinese food and refill quickly. Actually we did not expect to find such authentic Chinese food in the town. The staff was very friendly and hospitable. She reminded us which dish has been refilled and encouraged us to stay longer in the restaurant to enjoy the sunset and the night scenery of the town and Alps mountain. I was there today and ordered from the buffet. It was spectacular for my taste. I liked all the warm dishes I tried (Rind-, Hünchen und Schweinefleisch, Fisch, Riesengarnelen), champignons, greens. The food was filled up constantly. The fresh fruit bar was also great and delicious. There is even ice cream (different flavors) to serve yourself, included in the buffet. Had our best Chinese dinner in this restaurant along the Main Street to the historical town centre of Berchtesgaden. The soup was mediocre. The braised pork ribs were well marinated and tender.
