I only came here from the other side of Berlin to try their famous Kumpir potato. The concept is simple, you get a freshly roasted baked potato fluffed with some cheese, and then you choose additional toppings to add to it. The potato was truly fantastic, and the toppings were quite unique and tasty. My toppings included red pepper couscous, jalapenos, pickled vegetables and sour cream (you can add any extra toppings like olives, tuna, corn, mayo salads, curried shredded carrot salad etc based on your own preferences). The portion is actually quite huge once all the toppings are added, so don’t think that one potatoe won’t fill you. Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend! Das Essen ist LECKER, die Preise sind angemessen. Leider durfte ich keine Fotos machen, das Personal hat es nicht erlaubt! AMAZING KUMPIR!!! The food was absolutely fantastic. HUGE portions for quite cheap (around 8 Euros each). And the Baklava was super delicious too. Had fully authentic Turkish tea and coffee. Service was great. No nonsense, classic Turkish. Ambience was very comfortable too. The inside seating was super pretty, with various decor elements that are straight out of Turkey. Was a true pleasure and worth us braving the rain for sure.
