Anti-Kriegs-Museum — Attraction in Berlin

Visited this small, suburban, museum on a weeknight about 5pm. Spent about 90 minutes there reading and viewing information relating to the founding of the museum (in 1925), and the various anti-war, and then anti-Nazi, groups in Germany. Also information on war bombing and bomb shelters with a 1940s shelter in the basement. The main exhibition room of the museum has translations into English for all the panels, which threw lots of light on the very real anti-war and anti-Nazi movement in Germany through the 1930s and 40s. I went to see the museum yesterday and I am really thankful I did! The museum is small but full of objects from all over the world. We went to the basement and it really gets you chills down your spine, it's really impressive! The entry is free but you can leave a offer. When in Berlin, make the time to stop here. Could have spent hours here, but got a great amount of info within the 1.5 hours I was here. Loved talking to our host, as he spoke english, knew a LOT of history, and had an answer for every question. Some cool artifacts and authentic pieces.
