We went here unplanned as we were hungry. We initially thought that this is an authentic Mexican food, but apparently not. When we arrived, the tables were empty inside and I saw only two or three tables that were occupied outside. We were seated on a dirty table and the staff didn’t even bother to clean the spilled water on the table - honestly it was kinda shocking. Shortly after that, the staff were arguing among themselves with loud noises (looked like they were about to fight). Anyway, so we ordered steaks (medium cooked) and they gave us well-done cooked steaks. To top it off, the salads and onions seemed to be off, looks like it was sitting in the kitchen for a few days.. not fresh at all!! So at the end we just ate the steak and the fries. Finally, they didn’t accept payments by card, which is fine but they could’ve warned as in the beginning with a sign on the door or something. Seriously I find it amazing how this business could survive this long with their food and service qualities. I hope the owner/manager read this comment and take it as a wake up call. Sometimes in business you need to pivot by changing your menu and improve the service quality, before...
Read moreI dined here alone one summer day, when the restaurant was empty and quiet. It has a nice garden in the back overlooking the Spree and I felt good being there. The food tasted very nice, with a decorative presentation. The staff was friendly and also spoke English. Everything was fine. So I thought it would be a good idea to order food from here on Lieferando, now that I'm sick and can't stand up to prep a meal. Big mistake. The delivery was quite a different experience, unfortunately, and I would never repeat it. The quality was so bad, I don't have enough space here to describe it. I got these moldy melon slices, with spots of rot in them, I don't even know how this is possible. When you order at the table it's ok, because at least you see what you get, and if something is wrong, you can give it back. But when you order online, and the minimum order is 30€, you are left with 30€ worth of trash and there's nothing you can...
Read moreThe dishes are rather inspired by mexican cuisine than are actually mexican. Some ingredient combinations are questionable, the cook does not hesitate to use unripe vegetables for salads. Green tomatoes btw can be very damaging for the human health. Cocktails are good and large, selection of alcohol-free cocktails pleases with the diversity of flavours. The area is huge for Köpenick, there are tables inside and outside with a river view. The interior is very nice, the colorful ceiling lamps look great. Staff is friendly but not really involved. Waiters are not assigned to the tables, which causes confusion, i.e. whom to ask for the bill, who to tip, etc. Cards are not accepted, dinner for two will easily cost 50 Euro, so be ready with cash. Had a piece of food landing on my white pants when the waitress was removing the plates, haven't even...
