Café Bar Tirrée — Restaurant in Berlin

Absolutely disgusting with peope from abroad: Went there with a friend of mine who tries to learn German. She ordered in German, the guy was very (!) hostile and just brought a big one. When we said that she had ordered a small one he told her that she can only have a big Radler (German beer), not a small one. Later on we checked with another waitress and asked her if this was the case. No - there were indeed smaller glasses available. With a little bit of friendlyness or beforehand explaination it wouldn't have been a big deal to bring a small one. The waiter from before overheard us and started insulting us, that we were "too stupid to read". When I told him that at least she made an effort to speak his language and that he could have been patient and explain her he just laughed. Being asked if he was racist he just grinned and said: "Yes, maybe." For us the thing is clear: NEVER again we'll go to a place like this. And we can only recommend other foreigners not to support them. We found their manners disgusting. German...

Love the place, love this corner because it's my neibourghood but, last time I went I had a whisky sour that looked nothing like a whisky sour. We ordered flatbread with hummus and Baba ganoush. The Baba ganoush was tiny and super cold. The flatbread were some sad supermarket tortilla wrap that were heated up and made it cold and hard to the table. I told the waiter this is not flatbread, and he gave me a hard cold bagel and laugenbread. I had to ask him to heat them up cause they were to hard to eat otherwise. Please don't mock your customers like this, they deserve a proper product for their money and if u r giving old bread, at least have the decency to warm it up, we are paying. The flat...

Tip: This place is chill, not fast food, so take your time and enjoy.

This place is great. We came to meet a new friend and have lunch. The food was fantastic, mix and match in various foods such as jams, hummus, and what ever else you order. Our drinks were very slow to arrive and had to ask them a few times.

Even with that, we ended up back here a few more times and enjoyed it a lot. We used our laptops and the wifi, which was fast, to get some things done.
