Café Wunder — Restaurant in Berlin

My friend already left her 1-star review but both of us were not happy with our orders so I think it’s only fair to leave a separate review. We asked to return our cakes because both of them tasted bad. I can tell the difference between a dry crust taste (which can happen) and a stale, musty taste. At first, it seemed like the lady at the counter was okay with refunding the lemon cake after she tasted it, but when we said both desserts were not good, her response changed to "Oh no, we can do nothing, those are your personal preferences." No, I don't want another slice of cake that I suspect isn't fresh. It's also simply sad to read that you accuse your clients of making false statements. Nury and her team at Cafe Wunder are spectacular. Nury has kindly partnered with our international women’s running group in Moabit. They provide such a welcoming space for us to start our Sunday run and end our run with refreshing juices, coffee, and decadent cakes. It Is always a difficult decision when looking at the variety of cakes they have on offer.

A place to be, a place to stay and most definitely a place to come back to! It's still a café (like it used to be) but absolutely different with the new so very lovely owner – and with different I mean different in the most positive way one could imagine! Delicious food (try the vegan chocolate cake and manifold cupcakes - just: wow!) & drinks (seriously: the smoothie offer is just incredible - some taste like liquid cake!), great coffee (berlin roasted!) and a cozy-cool atmosphere.
