I heard and read so much good stuff about this bakery and their home made bread and so I was really excited to try it out. But unfortunately I was disappointed. I went on a Sunday morning and got their Swedish bread. The crust is tough and rubbery and the "fleshy" part immediately underneath the crust was dry, as if it were baked on the day before and was not freshly made. Or is this bread supposed to be like that? When you get up on a Sunday and drive somewhere to get fresh bread, this is not what you'd expect, so I am really sad about this. In the variable Berlin weather it is also great that it has a roof! Five stars for all of that. Unfortunately, most of the staff are great, but some go out of their way to be quite aggressive to customers - so just enjoy all the wonderful things the place has to offer in spite of that.
