Esmeraldas Inka-Cafe — Restaurant in Berlin

As a fellow Peruvian, it’s a shame to experience the lack of friendliness in service. Today I went with my family for the first time, excited to get a little piece of Peru in Berlin. And unfortunately, I was faced with cold treatment, average food with a short menu given to unavailability of some key foods, and semi-dirty place. I could overlook that some items ran out or were unavailable, I could overlook the lack of cleanliness ( even though it wasn’t even near closing time, we went around 2pm). But the attitude of this customer service was poor. Unlike the ones given to German or other foreigners. So if you’re a Peruvian or Spanish-speaking person expecting to enjoy this place. This place is awesome. Angela, the worker was my babysitter and she is awesome this place is cozy and warm good vibes nice dog and good food with a big variety. My favourites are the Empanadas with orangina drink and a nice ice cream desert with excellent cakes. Esmeralda the nice owner who I’ve known for a long time, is very nice. The main dishes are not really main dishes, good for a bigger snack next to a beer, but if you want to have lunch I do not recommend it. Also the food was not too good, but I never aet peruian before, so maybe the fried manioka has to be dry as hell. They were not too munificient with the guacamole and I was very disappointed when the sider onion salat turned out to be very few, small and thin onion strips (even though it was very delicious).
