Frau Lüske Kaffeehaus — Restaurant in Berlin

First of all, the food is ok. The cakes are amazing. BUT the service is HORRIBLE. You have to wait at least 15mins to get a menu or order something because the waitresses basically ignore you. Today, no one even looked at me once or tell me they'll be here to take the order sooner or later even I just wanted to order a piece of cake and standing in front of the cake shelf so I can order to go but no one talked to me anyway so I just left. I felt the attitude which the waitresses have is basically "we are doing so well so losing one customer doesn't matter to us". I used to be very patience with their service but today I'm done. I know they're busy but at least they could say something so I could tell they'll be here sooner or later. PLUS they're also slow and ignore you even they aren't that busy. This place seriously need a GOOD educations for the waitresses. The waiters are generally nice but the waitresses. Especially the waitress with black hair ignores customers intentionally somehow. I've never had any bad attitude or anything. I alway tip them as well. But she ignores the customers BUT chatting and smiling with her colleagues. Do not forget the time that I ordered a piece of cake but waited so long and I had to ask the waitress again, then she told me it'll be here soon. Then an another waitress showed up and said "There is no more cakes you ordered." without apology and smile but very rude attitude which was fine if they didn't have it anymore but the way she said. Then she went to this black hair waitress and whispered something and laughing about something but looking...

Feedback from June 2022: I am happy to admit that service has tremendously improved. The atmosphere is welcoming and very friendly. I am glad about that change and happy to share it! Thanks for the owner’ and administration taking feedback seriously. I would strongly suggest visiting this wonderful cafe! They have tasty coffee and wonderful breakfast choices!

Feedback from August 2021 not valid anymore: Good food with terrible service, or better to say no service at all! Waitresses don’t smile at all. Never. :( No greetings or goodbyes. Waiting for check for more than 30 minutes.

Gutes Essen mit furchtbarem Service, oder besser gesagt, gar...

A very nice experience** I ordered the flat white (ice coffee) which was tasty with strong espresso taste, very refreshing. The cake is the Wunderkuchen (the Wonder cake) a soft layer of chocolate pastry that felt like yummi chocolate cookie dough, topped with a layer of cheese cake and then fruit in jelly, It was easy to finish it :)

❌ Unfortunately for non smokers who want to enjoy sitting outside in the fresh air, there is no free from smoking area offered, and the whole nice atmosphere is ruined by smokers who decide to ignore others sitting...
