This Place is a Joke? I have no clue how this place is still running. Feels like some clueless wannabe Korean thought, “Hey, let’s open a restaurant!” with zero skills to back it up. I’ve eaten tteok mandu guk hundreds of times in my life, but this? This was the most tasteless, sad excuse for food I’ve ever had. And the sides? A total disaster. The kimchi was a joke — calling it kimchi is offensive. The hobak jeon? Obviously mass-produced ahead of time and soaked in oil. It was so soggy, it felt like chewing on a wet sponge. And the service? Nonexistent. The place wasn’t even busy, but when I walked in, they didn’t even notice me. The female staff member was too busy putting on lip balm and staring into space. She didn’t check on my table once during the entire meal. It’s like they don’t even care about the customers. Basic service? They haven’t got a clue. Oh, and the bathroom? Absolutely disgusting. It stank to high heaven and was filthy. The toilet was clogged too. Yeah, no way I’m ever coming back here. What a waste of time.

There’s not a single word of exaggeration in my review.

My point is not that I doubt Koreans made the food, but that both the main dish and the side dishes didn’t taste authentically Korean, which is why I mentioned the lack of skill. Also, is it wrong to finish the food even if it wasn’t good? Your prices are high compared to the quality of the ingredients and the...

Not as good as other Korean Restaurants (in Berlin)

Food The food portions are pretty small, so you should expect to order more than usual of you want to get full, which makes the restaurant not as cheap as it seems at first. Also the food doesn't taste as Umami as in other Korean restaurants that I visited in Berlin, Stockholm or Amsterdam. I was happy to see Gimbap on the menu, because most other Korean restaurants in Berlin don't offer Gimbap, but it's taste was lacking. On the other hand I couldn't find Bibimbap on the menu, which is one of the Korean dishes that I like the most and I could find in every other Korean restaurant I have visited so far.

Table and chairs Normally I don't write about Tables or chairs, because who cares. But I have to mention, that the tables are really not great. Where we were sitting you barely had any place to sit and every time I wanted to visit the toilet, 2 people had to get up and make room for me, because everything was so cramped in a small space. Also chairs were pretty uncomfortable. If you really don't like sitting on an uncomfortable chair or you don't like having no space to move, I wouldn't...

I came here with friends to enjoy some cozy food, having had a nice experience on my first visit. Unfortunately, this time was the worst experience I’ve had in my four years in Berlin.

The food was good, but the issue came when paying. My card payment went through (I showed proof of the charge), but the lady insisted the payment didn’t register in their system and demanded I pay again, claiming I’d get a refund in 1–3 days. I suggested transferring the money instead, but she became impatient, rolled her eyes, and had someone “explain” their system to me in a condescending tone. When I went to get another card to resolve the issue, she yelled at me in front of everyone, accusing me of not wanting to pay and essentially labeling me a freeloader.

It wasn’t about the money anymore but her rude attitude. When confronted, she excused her behavior as a “cultural difference.” I’m sorry, but in no culture is it acceptable to roll your eyes, accuse a paying customer of theft, and hide incompetence behind such excuses. If you want to be mean, at least own it. Don’t...

✨Tips for newcomers ✨MUST READ! You should definitely come if you are really good at reading menus without making any mistake in understanding all their descriptions and memorizing all the items which do not have any numbering on it. (+ digital only here, get a bigger phone for pdf!) You should definitely come if you educate yourself that only the owner knows the restaurant the best and you as a customer should not ask whether there’s Korean fried chicken in a Korean restaurant. (Ja you promise you read the menu and memorize everything, no mistakes, right?) You should definitely come if you will for sure order main dishes, instead of only small dishes, because you can never not be hungry when stepping into this restaurant. Oh and you should already know which are small though they are all categorized in „main dishes“. Then you are for sure not considered as a rude customer. And you will be good enough to not get response from the owner like “You WAS rude. “ ☺️☺️☺️ Otherwise, just go to other Korean restaurants. You are too rude.😉
