Himali, as the name justifies the liberating experience one could get on top of Himalayas mountains, was easily one of the best and authentic Nepali/Tibetan restaurants we’ve tried. Great savouring dishes, where each had a characteristic flavour - onion pakora, vegetable and spinach/cheese momos, vegetable noodle soup, sada daal bhat, srikhand yoghurt dessert and an array of dip sauces that caters to those stinging spice lovers and sour-sweet lovers. Good selection of vegetarian dishes as well. Pleasantly surprised with a fitting end with mango sekt and somf served! A single-handling service by one man to manage order taking, cleaning and all requests was not compromised for attending to customers’ needs. Enterprising nature of his service that customised orders to ensure visitors got a wide selection of items tried. One who took pride in explaining the traditional and natural method of cooking used for all spices and tea brewing. Cozy colourful decked restaurant with a calming selection of popular Bollywood songs to run as background for chats. Fair and affordable price per person to be satiated well beyond sufficient due to generous portion sizes. Great service, great food, great location! You can’t be disappointed with a trip...

Everything in this place was perfect, from the moment we entered it, all the way to the moment we left. Basti, the person that served us was too kind, always made sure everything is good, we have everything we needed, and gave us the time we needed to make an order. Also, Basti offered us his tips to how to eat the dishes according to the culture they come from. The food was too good, the menu is huge and diverse of several southeastern and eastern Asian dishes. After ordering a soup, appetizers, and main dishes, we ordered even more food, it was hard to stop looking at the menu and stop asking for more dishes. The atmosphere is great, the place has a beautiful southeast Asian design. The prices are almost non existent which was also the thing that made it easy for us to just keep on ordering food, and the dishes you get in return are huge and satisfying. After we asked for check, Basti offered us deserts, mango liqueur, and mouth freshener, all on the house.

The place was just perfect. I highly recommend it and I know I’ll return when I’m...

It's a Nepalese restaurant which is ok but nothing remarkable. We had as a starter the Samosa which was ok. As main dish we both got the chicken Tikka Masala, which was also ok but with a plane flavour. Here the Tikka Masala is served in the sizzler dish. The 2 we ordered, expected to be the same dish, were actually very different: mine was quite dry and a bit burned, which I could also smell when it arrived. The other one looked better, not burned and more creamy. The Naan bread was nice. The service was fine and the prices reasonable. Minus 2 stars for the food. We were not impressed and, unless you live in the area, it's really not worth a long distance trip. What we ordered, in terms of taste and flavours, was really just mediocre. I'd love to visit the place again, try new dishes there, get a better opinion and give them the missing stars, but I'm not living in the area and, with all the offer in Berlin, I'm not sure I'll...
