The Italian style is ably supported by the Italian staff who are friendly fellows who are keen to serve.

The location of the restaurant does not lend itself to any particular charm, but it is located near a major hotel, Adina Berlin.

The interior is at least more convivial, with quiet corners as well as large dining spaces making this suitable for a range of different dining party sizes.

The food is reasonably priced, and the quality is consistent with that value. The menu is more than adequate, and you would be hard pressed not to find something not to your liking.

The meals we had at Port Nova were Saltimbocca Romana and Spaghetti Fruitti di Mare (with a little chilli). The food rating I have given is a 4 only because my wife's vegetables were cold and if I were to be extremely pedantic a couple of pieces of my squid were a little tough but they did include some baby octopus which I really like. Both meals were tasty. The menu is quite large so there is likely to be something here for most. Our waiter was quite grumpy but he did speak English much much better than we speak German. We got the starters and mains at the same time which is unheard of at any respectable Italian restaurant. The food was turning cold while the starters were just sitting there. Meanwhile the Italians eating were served in the correct way. We got the wrong food and the correct dish arrived much later when we already finished eating.
