BeachMitte — Attraction in Berlin

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and it was truly an excellent experience. We were hosting our GDE Summit dinner, and the restaurant proved to be an ideal place for the occasion. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming, making it easy for everyone to relax and enjoy the meal. One thing that stood out to me was the restaurant's popularity during the summer months, which is not surprising given the stunning views of the surrounding area. However, even in the winter months, the restaurant was still an excellent choice. The interior of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, with warm lighting and comfortable seating. The staff was also very friendly and attentive, ensuring that everyone was well taken care of throughout the meal. As for the food itself, it was absolutely delicious. We ordered a variety of dishes, including some vegetarian options, and everything was prepared to perfection. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful, and the presentation was beautiful as well. We also enjoyed some excellent wine and dessert options, rounding out a truly wonderful meal. All in all, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a great dining experience. My employer gave me a 100 euro voucher to spend at BeachMitte. When I arrived with my family and wanted to buy some food, we realized that the food options very, very limited. But perhaps more importantly the lady behind the counter saw such a voucher with a QR code apparently for the first time in her life and didn't have equipment to deal with it. Nor did she care much.

I found this curious, because there must have been a couple of vouchers issued for our company alone. In the end, we got help from a helpful gentleman at the climbing area, who went out of his way to help us order food and then processed the payment using a scanner in his area. Without him we would've wasted a trip.

It also doesn't help with planning that they have no semblance of a menu on their website, you basically have to come and see what's on offer personally. That's not a great situation to be in with kids and I could not get them very excited for mushroom goulash.

I understand that this place may be heaven for volleyball players and climbers, but my experience was of a disorganized place that can't even post basic information online. I hesitate a lot to consider...

I wouldn’t give even one star, but well, is the only option. Having booked courts for 24 people for 2 hours, we were playing less than 1,5 hours due to the inconveniences caused by the staff. We were in the contact by phone days before with the personal, asking about all current Corona regulations, but about the rule “if you more than 10 people at one court, everyone has to have 2G++” what means, everyone has to be tested to matter booster, we got to know 15 minutes before the beginning of our booked time. And of course no notice on the website. And it was Sunday. So, is pretty hard to find opened centers in that area at that time.

But what had made the situation worse, was super unfriendly and rude personal. One guy just came shouting at us, because apparently in the Berliner worst weather of heavy rain and strong wind we somehow missed the little plate “to check in inside” being there FOR THE FIRST TIME, well, and the last one.
