Jatz Bar — Restaurant in Berlin

Well, well, I don't really like to give bad reviews but I feel obligated to write one to improve their service. Jatz bar enjoys a good reputation as it is one of the places in Wedding with a cozy atmosphere. You can play kicker inside and there are separate rooms for smokers and non-smokers; so far so good. Unfortunately, their service at the bar - and I don't recall having ever been served that slowly in recent memory - is a new definition of "sober bars". It takes ages to get a drink! You literally have to order two beers at once as you have to wait 30min and longer to get served. The bartenders do not really pay attention who was there first and just look in one direction. Don't get me wrong: Jatz bar is a good place but currently it is lacking speed. You really sit in there and think of grabbing a drink at a nearby Späti to skip the lines at the bar inside. It is sad and I wish the staff at Jatz bar could improve on that. There is potential and that's why I'm giving it 3 stars. It's a nice venue to hang out but at the moment I would not go there again. A true Wedding landmark.

As a downtown city person, and a true couch enthusiast, I feel absolutely spoiled.

Not only did the Jatz Bar treat my skeptical bottoms with state-of-the-art (vegan) leather, but also made my experience extactic by providing some fairly-priced and refined cocktails.

Ideal for a date or any...

It was very difficult to get any orders. People were not coordinated. I had to wait for at least half an hour for one order which is basically ridiculous. At one point they stopped serving cocktails as they told me cause of too many people but there were three people behind the counter and not many people in the bar. I used to be here and enjoy the drinks and atmosphere but its has changed now...
