Ksara — Restaurant in Berlin

As a Lebanese person I actually didn't find the food here authentic. The kebe balls are way too big, hummus and moutabal doesn't taste good either (lacking better mix of lemon, garlic and tahini), the mix grill was completely weird for Lebanese food. We never use cocktail sauce, only garlic and tarator. The grilled meat had this green marinade to it which covered the taste of the actual meat. The kafta was ok but too dry, should be more juicy. Lastly the tabouleh was lacking lemon juice. When we ordered Ayran with mint, it literally came with fresh mint inside it, that's weird. In Lebanon all minted ayran come with dried mint flakes inside it, not fresh. Service and atmosphere was fine, big portions relative to price if that's what you're after. I ordered food here and honestly none of the dishes taste like they should Tabbouleh: seasoning was okay but the pieces are not finely enough chopped Sambusek: not fried until it's done so it was still kind of soft on the outside, the cheese inside is a joke and nothing like proper sambusek cheese filling Hindbeh: tasted like nothing and is way too juicy, probably soaked in water and not squeezed out Batata harra: it's fried pieces of potato, with garlic and oil, none of the spicyness and flavours it should have Muhammara: apparently mixed to long into a mushy paste, weird taste, at times almost salty

Cannot recommend at all, worst arab food in Berlin I've eaten. At first I was happy they had a good amount of choice of authentic food but that doesn't help if the taste is soo far...

We waited for 10 minutes without anyone coming to ask us if we wold like something to drink or eat and then we waited another 30 minutes for our food.... which, in the end, didn't come out in time for us to take it away (we had to modify our order to be takeaway because we had a limited amount of time to be there in the first place). During our 40-minute visit to this establishment we never received our beverages and ended up canceling the order.
