La Femme — Restaurant in Berlin

Today, I went to the restaurant which was a really bad experience and I won't go again to this branch. Me and my friend ordered food and we were planning to order some cakes and tea after that. We were eating and talking to eachother, suddely a waitress came to us and in a very rude way tried to take the plates and the menus from us. We were shocked what is going on that she said her shift is over and wants to go so she wants to take everything to the kitchen while my friend was still eating her food. I told her that we still haven't finished and want to order cakes. She took our order quickly and didn't even give me time to order tea.she brought the order in a very disrespectful way, took the money and left. We first thought the whole restaurant is going to close that's why she doesn't let us even finish but when I understood her shift is over I found it too disrespectful. So far my favorite place for Turkish breakfast in Berlin. The menu is pretty broad. There are also other options than breakfast. But the specialty is bakery and breakfast here.

You have tons options as breakfast plates. Some of them represents different regions in Turkey. I would suggest you to order some variety of plates and share them. No need to order per person. The portions are big enough. Keep that in mind and don’t over order :)

For example if you go there as 2; I would suggest you to order one of the “Tava” plates and side it with a “Börek” plate. Don’t forget to order Turkish tea. Prefer “Simit” over bread. You can thank me later :)

The staff is very friendly. Service is fast. Some of the plates take some more minutes because of the cooking time. But overall it’s good.

Passed by this attractive looking place which seems to offer very interesting desserts many times during a hotel stay nearby but never went in until tonight.

Ordered an “Oreo magnolia” which I guess is basically Oreos mashed up inside cream. The item itself tasted ok. Would have given 4 stars based on that.

Sadly I found the counter/to go service to be extremely rude and short. Didn’t speak English and I don’t speak German (I am in Germany so that alone is understandable and fine) but she just barked orders at me.
