Sadly enough, my experience in this place was not nice, unlike many people in the reviews. I would have liked to be nice, though. I was there a couple of weeks ago, with my pregnant best friend and my mum who was visiting me for the first time in Berlin. The owner was extremely unfriendly, but extremely. I guess one needs to understand that being authentic or cooking well, having a good restaurant, doesn't mean that you can be unfriendly to people, especially people who come to your restaurant to eat. After getting very tense and angry answers to my pretty standart questions over and over, I told him that he could be a bit nicer and there is no need to unfriendly. He killed my mood completely for the night. Even though he tried to make it up after my comment, it was too late. I could feel the mansplaining in my bones :) I would have left the table, if I was not with my mum and with my friend. My mum was in Berlin for 16 days, and she said this was the one and only bad experience she had. For the food: We tried the vegetarian pizza and it was dranched in tomato sauce, impossible to cut even. I guess telling him to not to be rude was not a good idea. Caprese salad was good, my friend had pasta and she liked it. I will never come back to this place. I was thinking about writing a review last few weeks and holding myself back. But thinking about the pointless and unnecessary rudeness encouraged me to leave this here. I don't recommend this place according to my experience. I am happy that other customers had a...

While written with all the panache of a right handers left hand, it shows that the chef likes to mix things up, mostly away from the centre. The cannelloni would have been 5* if more al dente. The bread, though fresh 5* if further towards Italian crust quality. But these are small quibbles. The farcito inside the pasta was spot on, and the sauce laced with actual tomato...hence the orange colour. All-in-all a positive and reasonably authentic experience that I'd repeat...when I find myself looking for...
Read moreI had very good wine here I liked the pizza and Lasagna it was not fancy or super special just simple homemade small food that u enjoy eating and feels like you are in a small town in Italy. The environment is very friendly and cozy you could start conversations with people who regularly go there and I liked how this communication worked. There are not many big tables so be aware if you are more than 3 or 4. Also there are Italian olive oil and some other Italian things to buy. The dessert was great it...
