Our first time in Berlin we found a coffee shop about 5 mins walking distance from our airbnb. It was a great old jeeish community. Our first day, we came to the shop we didn't know what to get but the gentlemen behind the counter Ibo was very helpful and made us a custom brrakfast that was more American than German. We had Cappaccino's, scrambled eggs with fresh vegetables, fresh orange juice, and amazing baked goods. We went back to this shop every day for breakfast, and Ibo hosted us each day with a smile and cooked us and shared with us many traditional german dishes. The food was great, the service was amazing, and the atmosphere felt like home. I am hoping to come again and see Ibo and his family cafe when I return next year. Bus stop and taxis are on the corner to get to your next location.

Complementary tea monday-friday with breakfast/bowls!! The tea is quite nice. Their baked rolls (spinach/feta in puff pastry sort of bread, I forgot the exact name) are nice and crunchy, I just wish there was more seasoning in there. We also tried scrambled eggs (Mediterranean version). The taste is okay, but they were more crumbly. If you like scrambled eggs to be more soft/buttery, then I wouldn’t opt for this dish. If you’re in a rush for a quick breakfast, you can have the bakery things instead because this dish took about 20 minutes to be prepared. Coffee (latte macchiato) was okay, could be made stronger. Note: they are CASH ONLY!

The staff was alright. No card payments was disappointing. I didn’t try much from here but expected relatively fresh things considering I visited on a Monday morning. Baklava tasted like a mix of crab salad with a rubber boot :( and the rucola, tomato, feta roll was so dry and sour I couldn’t force myself too eat more than two bites. Sidenote for the owner - there is a HUGE collection of cobwebs on your neon sign that looks like has been there for at least a year, pretty gross.
