La Pausa — Restaurant in Berlin

Do NOT recommend. Overpriced food and unfriendlys service. We've ordered pasta and wine for lunch and asked for parmesan and they asked at the end to pay 1.90 for one small bowl of parmesan. We didn't have problem with paying for it if they would inform us in advance, even though it's unusual to pay for parmesan in an Italian restaurant (bistro in this case) but at the end the personal and owner started to insult us and told us to leave and never come again cause they need 1.90 to pay for rent,...

I like this place very much, although I have a strange feeling that if you are not "friend or family" you will not get a very special treatment. But except for the service, the food is delicious (I love calzonne there), and you can order not only pizza but also a lot of pastas etc. For drinks: cola, beer, wine, juice etc. Prices more than reasonable :-) And if you need a toilet, you better ask the lady for it, it is not...

In meiner Mittagspause esse ich hier oft. Das Essen schmeckt unglaublich, ob Pizza oder Pasta, man wir immer satt. Die Lasagne ist ein wahrer Käse Traum. Die Calzone ist reichlich gefüllt und sehr zu empfehlen. Bei den Zutaten merkt man die ausgezeichnete Qualität und die Inhaber sind suuuuuper nett. Das Restaurant ist klein und wirkt sehr familiär. Ich mag den Charm sehr. Für mich… mein 5 Sterne Restaurant in Berlin!

I often eat here during my lunch break. The food tastes incredible, whether it's pizza or pasta, you're always full. The lasagne is a real cheese dream. The calzone is richly filled and highly recommended. You notice the excellent quality of the ingredients and the owners are suuuuuper nice. The restaurant is small and has a very familiar feel. I like the charm very much. For me... my 5 star...
