Lumia Gelato e Caffé — Restaurant in Berlin

First of all, I would like to say that I have never found someone as kind and helpful as Abdel! It’s so rare in Berlin/Europe to have such a client-centered assistance and it made me want to come here frequently from now on. He not only gave us tips, but also was extremely friendly and fast/efficient. With a smile in his face since we walked in and treated us well even with us speaking English. If every place had an Abdel, the world would be a better place. Now let’s talk about the treats! The cappuccino was divine! One of the best ones I’ve had in Berlin. It was my first time eating the Italian treats and I really enjoyed the Sfogliatelle and some of the Cannoli. Unfortunately the pistachio was a bit of a deception as it tastes nothing like pistachio but I would recommend the chocolate one and the lemon one (my husband didn’t enjoy the lemon one much, he says he would buy only the chocolate ones next time, though the dough was good in all of them!). Next time we will try the ice cream but one thing is certain: we will be coming back a lot now thanks to the great customer service! Ps. Seeing all the negative reviews, and not agreeing with them, decided to write this one. I live in the district, those people who say it was better with previous owner - no it was not, the previous spot was open from 11:00 to 17:00 which was ridiculous. Lumia people operate perfectly, they are open up until late, ice cream is good, people kind and smiling, prices are quite good. This is one of two Gelato places in the neighborhood, so would never want them to close down. Keep it that way!

Sehr leckeres Eis aus eigener Herstellung mit einer Auswahl an einzigartigen wie auch klassischen Geschmacksrichtungen. Es gab u.a. Kinderschokolade, Cheesecake, Salted Caramel, Haselnuss, Pistazie, dunkle Schokolade, Limette-Minze und Süßkartoffel. Die Sorten, für die wir uns entschieden (Cheesecake, Süßkartoffel und Limette-Minze) haben allesamt sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir waren jetzt schon zweimal dort und werden definitiv noch öfter wiederkommen.
