Meat the Greek - Gyros Grill — Restaurant in Berlin

Kind of hidden restaurant direclty at S Feuerbachstraße. If I didnt know it was there, I would easily have missed it.

Interestingly enough, it is kinda nice inside, although insanely warm, even when it hastn been warm for more than a day outside. So warm that I would rather not eat there to be honest. Sitting outside is fine though, although the furniture has had its best days a while ago.

The food..... was surprisingly good. I ordered a Gyros Sandwich which was a lot bigger than I expected. A little hard to eat without making a mess due to the way it is shaped (and usually breaks in the middle so the sauce comes out once you eat...) but the size in itself makes it worth it for the price. The meat itself could use a little more spice tho, but still a solid 4/5. The plate dishes seem overpriced tho, saw a few of them but all were quite expensive in comparison to the sandwiches (double the price, not much more actual food).

Staff was nice and fast.

All in all, 4/5, will go there again when...

Ich - wie sicher auch ein Großteil der Steglitzer über 30 – freue mich sehr das es nach einigen Jahren des Entzuges nun endlich wieder ein ordentliches Gyros-Pita in Steglitz gibt. Viele Jahre lang war ein solches in der Albrechtstraße, gleich neben Eis Hennig zu bekommen…aber dieser griechische Imbiss ist schon lange nicht mehr da. Umso schöner das es mit Gyros Grill Villa Christina jetzt nun wieder möglich ist in der Gegend etwas anderes als den schnöden Döner zu bekommen.

Der Gyros hier ist sehr lecker und nicht wie manch ein Döner aus gekuttertem “Irgendwas“. Hier gibt es richtig leckeres, knuspriges Schweinefleisch oder auch Hähnchen aufs Pita-, Sandwich- oder Pocket-Brot, aber natürlich auch auf den Teller.

Dazu wird eine Vielzahl an unterschiedlichen Saucen und frischem Gemüse angeboten. Traditionell wird das Gyros-Pita hier im Übrigen auch mit Pommes Frites “bestückt“.

Zudem gibt die Karte der Villa Christina auch einige vegetarische Gerichte her. Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend und der Laden hat ein nettes Ambiente.

Die Preise sind angemessen und die Villa Christina liefert vor allem auch!

Von mir eine klare Empfehlung mal bei diesem Gyros Grill vorbeizuschauen.

I - as well as most of the Steglitzer population over 30 - I'm very happy that after a few years of withdrawal now finally there is a decent gyros pita in Steglitz. For many years, such was in the Albrechtstraße, next to Eis Hennig... but this Greek snack grill is long gone. The more beautiful it is now that with Gyros Grill Villa Christina it is possible to get something other than the vile kebab in the area again.

The gyros here is delicious and not like some kebab from gutted "something". There is delicious, crispy pork or chicken on pita, sandwich or pocket bread, but of course on the plate too. A variety of different sauces and fresh vegetables is offered. Traditionally, the gyros pita is here also "equipped" with some French fries.

In addition, the menu of Villa Christina also contains some vegetarian dishes. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the store has a nice ambience.

The prices are reasonable, and the Villa Christina delivers above all!

From me, a clear recommendation to stop by at this Gyros Grill.

Villa Christina Gyros Grill is a Greek snack bar. The food is exciting with various Greek options like Gyros, souvlaki, pork roast etc. There is also a beverage counter with coffee, soft drinks, alcohol etc. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating with nice and comfortable seats. There were also welcome shots of probably vodka with fennel. There was also a constant flow of take aways and delivery orders. The restaurant opened not so long ago and seems to have made a mark already. The restaurant also has a parent restaurant by the same name in Mariendorf. The restaurant is located just outside Feuerbachstraße S Bahn Station. Prices are reasonable. The staff in general was happy to respond to queries and were accommodative and friendly.
