For first time I walked into sephora stiglitz and got the 100% best service.. Alessandro made my day,great personality,top notch customer care,polite ,understands different skin shades.Am an African woman few times I went there nobody could advice me on shades of foundation..they bluntly told me we don't have your shade just go to Alexander platz.. this takes me atleast 2 hours 😪 to travel there and back.yet stiglitz sephora is 10 min from my house. All this changed when I meet Alassadoro on 26.10.2021.we sampled few foundation, got advice on pigmentation products ,dry skin during winter yes am still new and adjusting to weather.am a very happy I finally identified products I can use. We still need more sample shades for darkskin..then we can order some products for Pickup at store. I was with my sister and ofcourse we have different undertones and shades.. it will be good to expand abit on shades...or atleast the Testers... we need more Alessandro,s in this...
Read moreI was there hoping to get some product recommendations. I asked one of the clerks there and she sent me away in a second by saying “try that”. I went to the product she meant and saw that wasn’t even what I wanted. Then I went back to her she just sent me another way say “maybe you will find something there” and proceed to just stand at the til.
I thought she’s simply like that to every customer, but no, I saw her enthusiastically giving another young customer a lot of recommendations while sending me away here and there without even looking at me or listening to what I was searching for even when there was no other customers in store.
I am used to someone that just has 0 interest in working in customer service, but giving such different treatment to customers so obviously in a sephora...
Read moreThis is a mixed review. Part one is for Angelina the awesome woman who took her time to help me find the right products for my skin type. She was honest and went out of her way to make sure I was happy with the results. She was kind and friendly and even explained that while her shift was ending she would make sure I was helped with the rest of my search. Now for part 2.
The lack of shades available for darker skin tones is a real miss. I'm at my lightest and the lack of availability is a shame. And at the end of the day, this concept of the corner store doesn't do the Sephora brand justice. At least though the people working there are helpful.
