Quán Chè Weißensee — Restaurant in Berlin

Hatte mich gefreut, dass ein Bubble Tea Laden bei uns in der Nähe endlich geöffnet hat. Ist sehr schön eingerichtet und ist gut erreichbar, nicht weit von der Tram Haltestelle Antonplatz entfernt.

Scheint ein Familienbetrieb zu sein. Leider konnte der Verkäufer kaum Deutsch und jemand anderes (vermutlich seine Ehefrau?) hilft manchmal nach mit der Bestellung, wirkt daher noch etwas unbeholfen. Aber nett waren sie trotzdem.

Ich war 2x gegen Abend ca. 40-45min vor Ladenschluss dort. Beide Male gab es keine Tapioka mehr und mir wurde Hantien Bubbles stattdessen empfohlen. (Allerdings buchten sie mir dafür 50 Cent extra, obwohl Tapioka umsonst dabei wären.) Bislang fand ich die Bubble Teas in Ordnung vom Geschmack her und sie kosten ca. 4-5€. Nicht sehr günstig, aber normal verglichen zu anderen Ketten. Beim ersten Mal war es mir auch etwas zu süß, habe es daher beim 2. Mal weniger süß bestellt. Wäre super, wenn es zukünftig in verschiedenen Zuckerlevels angeboten wird :)

Heute habe ich dort außerdem ein Klebreisgericht bestellt. Leider wurde ich falsch verstanden und habe anstatt mit mariniertem Schweinefleisch die Variante mit der vietnamesischen Wurst bekommen. Für mich war es leider zu ölig/fettig und nicht so sehr mein Geschmack. Doch da sie es für mich noch extra zubereitet haben, obwohl sie die Küche bereits geschlossen hatten, gebe ich noch einen Stern dazu. Würde mich freuen, falls es noch eine Variante mit zartem Rindfleisch gäbe.

Man kann dort auch mit Karte zahlen. Die Küche haben sie scheinbar von 11-18 Uhr offen für warme Gerichte, (obwohl der Laden erst um 19:30 Uhr schließt). Falls ich tagsüber in der Nähe bin, probiere ich es demnächst gerne nochmal aus. Aber gegen Abend hin...

It was our first ever visit to this restaurant. I ordered the Pho Bo soup and two spring rolls that are called "summer rolls" here in Berlin. The rolls at first were served with withered lettuce, and were actually torn. But then it was remade and we got a couple of superb rolls that were 10/10. Simply impeccable. So was the soup. Not too hot, not too spicy, with the right amount of beef and noodles. The "small" bowl would satiate a bear. Would revisit the place if I ever am...

Never ordering here again. This is the third time they have delivered so called bubble tea without bubbles. Instead of contacting customers to inform them they are out of product and giving the opportunity to cancel or change the order, which would be entirely understandable, they deliver drinks that we never ordered because they contain no bubbles, but still put bubble tea on the label and charge full price. Misleading and shady...
