We went as a group of four, based on the high Google rating. Even though we were late for our reservation, we called and they were kind enough to accommodate us. The staff were polite and helpful at the beginning. However, after serving the food, it felt like we were forgotten.

As a Turkish person living in Munich, I have never really liked any of the Turkish restaurants there. I thought I would finally have the great Turkish food in Berlin, but it was disappointing. That said, it was still better than any Turkish restaurant I have tried in Munich.

We started with a ‘meze plate’. Except for the carrot tarator (which was just mayonnaise.. ) and the hummus (which was too sweet..), the rest was decent. We ordered a ‘three lahmacun’ as starter too, but they were indistinguishable from frozen ones, very disappointing.

Our main dishes were Beyti, a lamb Iskender (since they were out of döner), and a mixed grill. The Beyti was okay. The lamb in the Iskender was flavorful. In the mixed grill, the liver was quite dry, and strangely, the Adana kebab had carrots in it, I have never seen carrots in Adana kebab before. Both were honestly very bad. The lamb was well-cooked, and the chicken wings was nice. I do not recommend to order the mixed kebab because half of the plate is not good.

Overall, I satisfied my curiosity. If this place were in Munich, I might visit again. But if I lived in Berlin or if this restaurant were in Turkey, I would...

I gave this place another chance. It's 2:00, I'm the only customer. It takes them 10 minutes to take my order. I order something simple, a Kebab (12 euros). After 20 minutes I get bored of waiting, I get up and they tell me that my order is almost ready. They cook my order burning fastly the charcoal with a plastic lid. The result is flatbread that is raw on the edges and charred in the center. Raw meat, a tiny kebab, made with zero enthusiasm, very expensive, mediocre, tasteless, stupid. I feel cheated, for second time in this so called restaurant . I complain to the waiter, he doesn't speak German or English, I tell him that the food is very bad, that I don't want it anymore. It's disgusting, I pay the 12 euros and don't take another bite of that food. I prefer to eat at MacDonalds. Twice terrible, all the positive reviews on this site have to be fake. Horrible, expensive, unfriendly, aggressive. Don't go eat there if you love Turkish food. Confirmed two times, one of the worst places to eat on this area. A Turkish friend recommended me to visit this restaurant, for good Turkish style Kokorec. So I took his recommendation and visited them my family on 3.4.2024, as we happened to be in the area. After seeing the menu, my wife thought it was not what she wanted to eat at that time, so we did not dine in, however, I got a Kokorec sandwitch as takeaway for myself, since I wanted to try it out. The sandwitch was alright. It was about 1/4 of the size of doner Kebab, but still balanced and tasty. However, the price of the sandwich in the menu was around 8€, but my card was billed 14,50€. I don't know how they billed as they did not provide the receipt, but this is the reason for my bad rating.
