As a Turkish person, I can honestly say the baklava here was even better than many I have had in Turkey. I tried 3, 4 different types, even had the rice pudding (Sütlaç) and everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. Their tea was also freshly brewed. I came from Munich with my German boyfriend, who had been searching everywhere for cold baklava (soğuk baklava)—and he said the one here was even better than in Turkey (I agree)! We ended up visiting two nights in a row.
On the third day, we also tried the Wedding branch, which was close to our hotel. The ladies working there were very kind and welcoming. The taste of the baklava was, of course, just as good.

On the other hand, the Wedding branch is quite the opposite. You can sit, relax, and enjoy your time there. Just something to keep in mind. To be fair though, Kreuzberg always seems to be much busier, so the difference in service might be due to the...
Read moreUnfortunately it is very overrated. I came to this place with big hopes and I ordered one Dubai magnolia, künefe and mix plate of baklava, Turkish tea and Turkish coffee. Dubai magnolia was not fresh at all and we didn’t finish it, kunefe was with salty cheese, we were not able to finish it, that was first in my life, kunefe needs to be made with unsalted cheese. And baklava is not bad but there was too much syrup in it, it changes the texture and taste of course. Tea was not fresh and you can smell a lot of bergamot. Coffee was too intense. As a Turkish and a big fan of Turkish desserts, I must say that this place needs to improve many things especially in baklava and kunefe. Service was quite fast but they were not happy because I just tasted Dubai magnolia and kunefe but...
