We had a reservation at this restaurant, we were going with a person who had been on other occasions. When we entered they asked us for the covid certificate, required by law in Germany, one of our colleagues had the certificate of 2 vaccines and had passed the disease. They told us with very bad manners that this was not valid, as he spoke to us, it did not matter if we had 2 or 3 vaccines, they did not want to attend to us. It was our last day in Berlin and in the rest of the places we went, which were not few, it was valid. The waiter was worried about letting us in because of the covid, while he was talking bad to us with his mask down. The treatment we received here was denigrating, the fellow Berliner told us that the bar had changed its appearance, and seemed to be aimed at a different public. They offer a great variety of plates, but if you want a truly German plate of food, order the Gypsy Plate! This includes a weiner and a skewer of pork and roasted onion, as well as rice and chips. Every bite was perfectly warm and satisfying, and the portioning was really generous for the prices asked. The server did not give us a great deal of attention but was pleasant. It is really nice to sit outside and we definitely recommend outdoors if you do not like cigarette smoke because inside was suffused with this - but it got chilly in the evening so it was a hard decision. Being right by a giant park and by the train station is a nice and convenient touch as we could see a lot of people coming and going and it kept the sights...

Der Marjan Grill ist "das" kroatische Restaurant für Berlin. Es liegt im Berliner Ortsteil Moabit - direkt am S-Bahnhof "Bellevue".

Wir hatten an diesem Abend sehr viel glück mit einem Sitzplatz, da wir nicht reserviert hatten und kurz nachdem wir Platz genommen hatten, das Restaurant komplett besetzt war und nach uns kommende Gäste teilweise abgewiesen wurden, da diese nicht reserviert hatten.

Speisetechnisch gibt es auch eine Zusatzkarte, je nach Jahreszeit aktuell war es die "Wildkarte" - eher ungewohnt für ein kroatisches Restaurant, aber durchaus möglich.

1. Original Ungarische Gulaschsuppe für € 5,30
2. Rose – lieblich 0,2 l für € 5,20
3. Mineralwasser mit Kohlensäure Fl. 0,25 l für €2,95 Wildsuppe (Zusatzkarte) für 6,20 €
4. Lambrusco süss 0,2 l für € 4,90
5. Espresso Macchiato für € 2,80 Wildschweinbraten (Zusatzkarte) für 19,90 € Schwarzwälder Kirsch-Dessert für 5,40 €
6. Pola – Pola ein Raznjic, fünf Cevapcici mit Pommes frites, Djuvecreis und Salat für € 17,50 Maraskino 2 cl für € 2,60

Zusammenfassung: Essenstechnisch waren wir zufrieden, außer der Kleinigkeit beim Pola Pola, den Cevapcicis, waren kleine Knorpelstückchen darin - ansonsten meine Wildsuppe und der Wildschweinbraten, sehr lecker.

Grundsätzlich hat uns das Restaurant Marjan Grill überzeugt, das Restaurant ist ein Renner, da ständig Gäste kommen und gehen und das Geschäft bis auf den letzten Platz belegt ist und sie noch viel mehr Plätze belegen hätten können, wenn es der Raum hergegeben hätte.
