Es ist Anfang Mai noch "ein bisschen frisch".Trotzdem sind die Tische im Außenbereich gut besetzt. Es gibt reichhaltig leckeren Kuchen der Saison, z. B. Streuselkirschkuchen, aber noch keinen Erdbeerkuchen. Allerdings nur Sprüh-Sahne auf den Kuchen, die man dann nicht braucht, dafür aber lecker Kaffee von mocambo drago. Ruhe, Vögel zwitschern, nur in der Ferne brummen die Autos, eine saubere Toilette, nirgendwo kann man im Tiergarten besser rasten. Ich komme immer wieder gern. Will man rein ins reetgedeckte Restaurant "Teehaus", empfiehlt sich Platzreservierung zu den Abendessen-Zeiten.

Loved this little gem in the middle of the park. Cold drinks avai and beautiful garden to sit in. Nice and quiet.

I should have listened to the negative reviews. The setting is no doubt lovely. However! I booked a table in advance for a Sunday brunch, friends were visiting from out of town so I wanted to take them for a special treat. This was not the place to go. We were seated at a bad table and nicely asked to get a different one. It didn't seem like such a huge favour to ask for since there were at least 20 other free tables around. We were told that's not possible. I had read about this problem in order reviews but I thought maybe it's because they were too busy. That was really not the case when we were there. No excuse for such terrible customer service. Then there was the food itself. The menu was quite unimaginative but to make it even worse - the quality of the ingredients was cheap.
