Ristorante & Pizzeria " IL Colosseo" — Restaurant in Berlin

An uncomfortable experience I'm saddened to say. Although the first course was nice and tasty, the main course (Pollo Al funghi) was a different story. The chicken had actually gone completely off! I had a few mouthfuls and put the weird taste down to maybe the sauce or the mushrooms, however a strange smell started emanating from the plate, when I smelled the chicken more closely, it was vile and disgusting and definitely off. I sent the plate back after getting the waiter to smell it too. I declined the offer of a replacement dish. All night I spent throwing up and sitting on the toilet, even now, 6 hours later if feel bad enough to go to hospital. The saddest thing is, I had to pay this place to get food poisoning as they still charged me...

Great Italian Food! A friend and I were staying at the hotel which is directly connected to this restaurant and had a really good meal here on our first night. The quality was excellent and the portions extremely generous (my pizza was huge!) - on reflection, although both starters were also excellent, we might have been wiser to just have the complimentary nibbles and go for the main course, as we had both had a reasonably large lunch. But heh... we managed! 😂 I thought it was very good value too: 4 beers, 2 starters and 2 mains (of excellent quality and size) plus complimentary warm bread rolls etc. all for under 49 euros. Devo scrivere questa recensione perché sono andato in questo ristorante con una italiana, che ha lasciato una recensione a cui il cuoco ha risposto dicendo che è italiano (siciliano). Mi dispiace molto se un siciliano si trovi a dover cucinare carbonara con la panna, amatriciana con lo Speck, pizza marinara con frutti di mare, e…. PIZZA HAWAII!!!!! Inoltre faccio notare che la risposta del ‘cuoco siciliano’ non è nemmeno scritta in italiano corretto. Non saprei dire quindi se il cuoco abbia venduto la sua anima al diavolo o se semplicemente non sia italiano….

I have to write this review, because I went to this restaurant with an Italian, who left a review to which the cook responded by saying that he is Italian (Sicilian). I am very sorry if a Sicilian person has to cook carbonara with cream, amatriciana with Speck, pizza marinara with seafood, and.... PIZZA HAWAII!!!!! I also point out that the response of the 'Sicilian cook' is not even written in correct Italian. Therefore, I cannot tell whether the cook has sold his soul to the devil or is simply not Italian....

Ich muss diese Bewertung schreiben, weil ich mit einer Italienerin in diesem Restaurant war, die eine Bewertung hinterlassen hat, auf die der Koch mit dem Hinweis geantwortet hat, dass er Italiener (Sizilianer) sei. Es ist echt schade, dass ein Sizilianer Carbonara mit Sahne, Amatriciana mit Speck, Pizza Marinara mit Meeresfrüchten und .... PIZZA HAWAII!!!!! kochen muss.

Außerdem ist die Antwort des "sizilianischen Kochs" nicht in korrektem Italienisch verfasst. Daher kann ich nicht sagen, ob der Koch seine Seele an den Teufel verkauft hat oder einfach kein Italiener ist....

Das Essen (Pasta und Pizza) ist weder authentisch noch hat es mir geschmeckt. Wenn man einen durchschnittlichen Anspruch hat, sollte man hier nicht essen gehen, damit man nicht...
