Kikko — Restaurant in Berlin

I love sushi here - the quality, taste and price are good. really good. I love the owner of restaurant - chinese woman and all her family, the mother very helpful and friendly, son always serving and being very professional, the women herself knows everyone and remembers every detail you share with her (this is rare), also the daughter before was working (super friendly), and sushi master chinese man who speak friendly russian language is suuuuper kind BUT !!!!!!! a man (waiter) with glasses is spoiling all the reputation of this restaurant, he is super rude, super not professional, he doesn’t like our family and obviously always demonstrate it, not greeting us, never smiling, even throwing menu on the table. Who he likes he gives in the end plum wine, who he doesn’t like - he doesn’t give. He treating people with favouritism and this is not nice at all. Now it is third time when he did mistake with my take away order and didn’t understand (even didn’t try to understand) what i am ordering. Every-time going there is challenge for me and i have to fight this negative emotions. Very sad.

Unfortunately, there is no other good sushi next to my place, that’s why i am still coming but very rare. If the atmosphere and attitude would be better maybe i would come 5 times more...

We ordered two menus with sushi and expected it to be in separate containers. We waited 30 minutes outside of the restaurant (because of corona I guess) while others which came after us got their food earlier. When we unpacked our food at a nearby park, we discovered that there were only on pair of chopsticks and they put our two orders into one container. That was very unpractically because we were outside and didn‘t know how to solve this problem. Maybe it would have been a better experience if we ate it inside the restaurant. But still we had to deal with this and I am very disappointed so I want to let the internet know how angry I...

Nice to see a sushi spot in the historic part of Köpenick. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the service was pleasant throughout our visit. The menu offers a decent selection, mostly sticking to the well-known classics. Don’t expect any signature rolls or creative twists.

The sushi itself looked neat, but unfortunately didn’t taste very fresh. The texture was a bit dry and the flavor rather bland.

The interior could use a bit of love—a fresh coat of paint and clearer signage would go a long way in making the place feel more inviting.

That said, the prices were quite reasonable, which helped balance out...
