Schlossplatzbrauerei Köpenick — Restaurant in Berlin

Incredibly friendly, and gracious in dealing with my poor attempts at speaking German. Lots of seating, all outdoors, though I imagine they can accommodate a few tables indoors if it's raining.

I'm not a beer connoisseur or anything, but I did enjoy the Dunkel. It's honestly one of the best beers I've had in Berlin. Prices were also extremely affordable. We paid 12€ for 2 large beers and a one small stout.

The crowd was lively, as some were watching a game on a TV they had positioned so people could watch from outside. Yet no so lively as to be rowdy or annoying.

I love this place and always return for a 'Helles' (a light-coloured beer). Have come here for years and when in town, will for sure visit for at least one beverage. All beers are brewed in house and they are so tasty. They even have some cool chilli-flavoured beers that definitely add something different to your pallet. Give it a try, prices are very competitive! Bier meistens gut, aber Laden leider bei Andrang ungemütlich und im Innenbereich oft exzessiv verqualmt. Hier ist der Raucher noch König und der Nichtraucher eher Bittsteller. Also wird gequalmt, als ob es morgen keine Kippen mehr gibt.

Die saisonal unterschiedlichen Biersorten sind lecker, aber leider bei Andrang öfters mal nicht ausreichend durchgekühlt. Die Bedienungen sind mit steigender Besucherzahl zumeist restlos überfordert. Die absolute Katastrophe sind allerdings die WCs. Wobei man hier eigentlich nicht im Plural sprechen darf!! Es gibt genau Eine (1!!!) Toilette. Bei geschätzt über 100 Sitzplätzen im Innen- und Außenbereich führst das bei Andrang zur Katastrophe mit Ansage. Wer nach 2-3-4-5 Bier wegbringen will, was auf der Blase drückt, sollte also rechtzeitig die Lokalität wechseln, sonst führt die ewige Wartezeit vorm einzigen Abort ggf. zu peinlichen Situationen.

Der Laden ist nicht nur die "Kleinste Brauerei" sondern hat auch das "kleinste WC" dazu... Mir eigentlich unerklärlich, wie es so zu einer Konzession kommen konnte.
