Ritrovo Restaurant — Restaurant in Berlin

We came across Ritrovo restaurant by luck and ordered 2 pizzas. The pizzas were cooked the proper way, in a beautiful stone oven, and we could see the man making them from the table we were sitting. They were ready pretty quickly. The moment of truth came with the first bites and we were pleasantly surprised. The dough was on point and the base and ingredients were full of flavour. Ich kam heute zufällig vorbei und bin glücklich darüber. Zuerst habe ich mir einen Latte Macchiato bestellt. Nach dem ersten Versuch kam ein perfekter Latte Macchiato auf den Tisch. Die Glastemperatur war perfekt lauwarm, so dass man es gut halten konnte. Obwohl ich ein wenig im Stress war, war das Personal mega freundlich und verständlich, somit erleichterten sie mir die ganze Situation enorm. Danke dafür! Ich fühlte mich sofort entspannt, etwa so wie im Urlaub in einer Lieblingsrestaurant. Das Ambiente ist sowohl innen als auch draußen sehr schön, was mir besonders gefallen hat, sind die auf jedem Tisch stehende Pfeffermühlen. Salz, Öl, Essig. Das sollte überall selbstverständlich sein, ist aber leider in Berlin nicht.

Meine Calamaren auf Ruccola waren sehr gut und sind wärmsten zu empfehlen!

Als meine junge Begleitung dazu kam, bestellte sie sich eine Lasagne, welche leider auf einem Teller und nicht in einer Auflaufform serviert wurde. Weil das Gericht vorher nicht ein wenig geruht ist, war sie nicht ganz gelungen serviert. Ihr Brot wurde mit einer phantastischen, geschmacklich optimalen Pasta/Aufstrich aus schwarzen Oliven serviert - was vorher bei mir nicht der Fall war, leider :( , sondern bekam ich das schmackhafte Brot mit Olivenöl angeboten. Was ungünstig bei meiner Begleitung war: Ihr Hauptgericht kam ca. zwei bis drei Minuten nachdem sie das Brot mit Olivenpasta auf dem Tisch war, also ziemlich schnell und sie wusste nicht, was sie zuerst essen soll.
