Centro Hotel Prinzregent Berlin — Hotel in Berlin

I stayed here one or two years ago with a friend. Despite booking last minute and during a major event (festival, th ehotel was full) we were treated well and accomodated in aq large bright room with plenty of space, a tv (big choice of channels) and a desk. The room was perfectly clean and tidy, so was the bathroom. The hotel staff made sure we had every service and item we requested. We arrived very early and stayed in the common area waiting for our check in area, the staff was so nice they actually prepared the room to be ready just around 1 hour after we arrived (here I would like to point we arrived 6 hours before the agreed check in hour without putting any pressure on an early checkin). The lady at the reception was flooded with requests and situations like ours so I find it not a big surprise that she was quite tired and a bit irritated by not having enough time to properly handle every task. The position is really good and overall I would really recommend this hotel, very nice staff, clean, cheap and well furnished, cozy. Out of many hotels, hostels and pension I stayed at in Berlin, this was the only one clean that has the best staff and...

First off we got the wrong kind of room when we arrived. The lady in the reception rudely tried to explain that a queen size bed can somehow also be two small beds, one on each side of the room. Once we got a room with an actual queen size bed we noticed that the walls were made of paper. The guy in the room next to ours turned his TV on, loud, every morning around 6am. He also snored, which kept us awake most nights. Sure, it's not a fancy hotel and we didn't even pay much to stay here, but I'd rather stay in a tent next time we're in Berlin than come back here. Since the walls are not soundproof like they claim on the website, you will also hear the cars passing by on the highway right next to the hotel, all day...

Also ich rate euch auf meinen Namen zu klicken und da sieht ihr unten die Fotos die ich gemacht habe und dann könnt ihr es selbst bewerten. Ich finde das Hotel klein aber fein, das Zimmer ist auch klein aber fein. sauber und auch wenn es von Fenster man die Autobahn sieht konnte man trotzdem schön schlafen. Das Frühstück ist Super. Was ich nicht gut fand ist der Korridor...der war dunkel und morgens hat es mordig (schwül) gerochen und das war zum Glück nur einmal. Kollegen sind nett und...
