Sahara Imbiss — Restaurant in Berlin

The food here was so delicious, that someone stole it!!!!! I am not kidding, I put my just ready food down, went inside to get my drink and someone else helped to it and runned away! Like a tv commercial, I couldn't believe it. The guys at the place immediately sort me out with a new plate of extremely delicious and amazing value for money food! I paid €9.50 for all of it and after I had a taste of my second plate 🍽 I understood why the food was stolen: so fresh, delicious, mixed ingredients, humous kind I have never tried in my life and if you like spices, this is your place!

People around me couldn't believe that my food was stolen as apparently for Berlin locals they have never witnessed something like this before..... I honestly can see why someone went for it! It was brilliant 👏

Thank you to the guys at the restaurant who provided another plate totally free of charge despite it was me who left my food unattended.

Sahara Imbiss has become a classic in this neighborhood. This is one of their recent branches.

For vegans, there are pita bread sandwiches or platters filled with falafel, tofu and fried vegetables. I like particularly the peanut sauce and the tofu here, which contains exotic spices.

Prices have gone up recently, so getting a whole platter for one person plus a drink is almost as pricey as eating at a proper restaurant. (This is a very casual eatery with self-service though.) Actually, one platter can be shared among two people. For me, one sandwich is normally enough!

I came on a weekday night at about 9. It s always full. About 8 people waiting. They are very disorganized, forgot my order and I saw those begin me have got theirs but I have waited more than half hour. One tip, if u wanna grab your food quickly go for falafel. Everything else takes longer time. The taste is awesome, especially peanut sauce. Mango sauce is worth trying too even it doesn't sound match. Spicy sauce is on request too.well it s fast food ,what do u complain.
