The B Side — Restaurant in Berlin

Ich war gestern zum ersten Mal dort - auch wegen der guten Berichte im "weddingweiser"; es kurz nach 23 Uhr, also eine "barzeit", wenn auch Mittwoch und nicht am Wochenende. Es war ziemlich leer. Was ich nicht wusste war, dass dort geraucht wird - aber ok, im hinteren Teil war die Luft erträglich, vermutlich ist auch das anders bei Vollbesetzung. Die covid-Controlle war passabel - Ausweis wurde nur bedingt eingefordert, etwas mehr Präzision wäre schon gut.

Enttäuschend war aber das Angebot an Drinks - der Barkeeper war ein netter Typ aber recht sparsam bei entsprechenden Empfehlungen. Was gar nicht ging war, dass die Drinks ziemlich lieblos zusammengeschüttet waren, weder "Deko" noch sonst etwas war vorhanden, geschmeckt hat alles eigentlich nur nach Alkohol - und zwar den medizinischen....

Sonderlich aufmerksam ging es da auch nicht zu - insgesamt also eine Enttäuschung, auch wenn der Raum ansprechend ist. Bezüglich Service und Angebot (z.B. alkoholfreie Drinks gleich null - zumindest kannte der Barkeeper keinen), das mir (auch auf mehrfache Nachfrage) präsentiert wurde, ist die "Bar" eine Katastrophe.

Ich werde sicherlich an einem Wochenende das nochmal testen. 'Als "Weddingerin" bin ich dem Wedding viel zu sehr verbunden. Aber Gäste nehme ich da...

What a blast. Discovered this beautiful little spot on a wedding tour and yes, well, absolutely a place to feel great. Fantastic music, good beers and drinks in gene6for very reasonable prices and a very very nice owner and host. To stop the BS, it was on my list to go as I know the owner. Nevertheless, it's a great spot and I really can recommend to check it out....

The best bar in Wedding! The staff is very nice and welcoming just like the regulars you will meet here. Awesome music: 60/70s Rock, at least while I was there. This is a smoking-bar but it’s very well aired so not much of problem for non-smokers in my opinion. A lot very good beers on tap plus a lot of other drinks. I don’t know more to say, just go there and...
