We asked the waitress if she had French fries and she immidiatlywas irritating for that question her answer was no. We asked for water and what the brand of the water was and she respond with uuuftttt I don't know. (not every bottled water taste good that's why we asked). Food was not tastfull. My soup was like trash and my husband meal was full with bones and fat. We asked for cig kofte she said we don't have that (10 min later for 3 other Turkish men she had cig kofte) Sorry but do not eat there, there are plenty more other ocakbaci where the food is...

A friend came over from the US and we met there for brunch. Good quite good but what stood out was the service. Although I speak German a young man spoke English with us and was VERY friendly and helpful.
The place is not well lit in my opinion which is not to my personal liking, maybe someone else will enjoy it.
My son dropped a phone behind their wall sofa bench thing... Needs a good cleaning back there.

Diese Gaststätte gehört in die Hall of Fame! Hier wird noch frisch gekocht, die Fleischgerichte (ich empfehle Kuzu Sis!!) sind stets on point gegrillt und werden mit dem besten Salat der Welt und Reis serviert. Die Karte glänzt neben den "Klassikern" wie Adana oder Iskender auch mit bspw. Fasan oder einigen Fischgerichten (Lachs, Dorade...), alles superlecker und frisch in der offenen Küche zubereitet. Der Mann hinter dem Tresen versteht sein Handwerk. Bedienung ist unterschiedlich gut gelaunt. Leider sind Beilagensaucen wie zB Cacik ziemlich überteuert (4,00 € für einen Teller), aber trotzdem ein Muss. Es wird auch (recht teurer) Alkohol in Form von Efes, türkischem Vino und Raki ausgeschenkt, der somit eine gute Gelegenheit zum gepflegten "Abschießen" gibt, gerade, wenn am Wochenende noch Livemusik läuft. Es darf im Nebenraum auch geraucht werden, nette Geste!
Ich kann den Besuch hier nur empfehlen, es ist mir jedes Mal aufs Neue ein Fest, hier einzukehren. Besonders erwähnenswert ist - gerade für Sparfüchse - das Mittagsmenü, unter der Woche 12.00-17.00 für 8,50 € Köfte, Tavuk Sis oder Fasan mit Reis, Salat und Getränk.
