Definitely recommended for special occasions ❤️💯 it's difficult to find (affordable) teppanyaki in Berlin and we have read mixed review before heading but decided its definitely worth the price & experience ☺️ The service wouldn't be the friendliest but they are definitely attentive and helpful, things could just be so busy there (imagine the masters have to go around putting on the grilling show and the staffs have to observe which table is getting which course next). The teppanyaki chef is a quiet but funny guy! The general atmosphere is REALLY chill, quite serene (it's weird to say this since it's teppanyaki, but it is). It was so enjoyable to eat there. The best thing? The tables are sooooo far away apart ❤️❤️❤️ talking about koveed 😂 We had the Kobe menu (nothing to do with the kobe beef) cuz we wanted to have a mix of seafood and meat. The menu costs less than €40 p.P. The protein part was AMAZING. The salmon is so juicy, the king prawn is just heavenly! And the beef, we had it medium - just tender, appropriately seasoned, served at the right level. And all these - are done in front of your own eyes. It's amazing. With three beers, we paid around €86 in the end for two. Perfect for birthday celebrations! Downsides - they really could make more effort in the sushi appetizer and fruit dessert. They really look quite pathetic and sad. Some people complaint about the smell. When we first stepped in, we were mesmerised by the interior AND immediately noticed a smell, which realised afterwards could be the cleaning detergent (of the teppanyaki grill). The smell quickly disappeared when u step into the dining area though. They have great air circulation in there.

Spam alert! ⚠️ No chefs are Japanese but they may tell you that they ARE!! If you are looking for authentic Japanese food, please please please don't come here. The food was really sad -- even comparing to other Japanese places in Berlin. But these are fine -- what I found really hard to accept is they pretend to be Japanese while they don't have to make that lie. Having visited Tokyo so many times, I can't help but asked the chef who was serving us, where do you come from Japan? He answered me Tokyo. But then I started to speak Japanese with him, and he can only stumble IN GERMAN that he only grew up in Japan when he was little and he apparently didn't understand me at all. Then he left our tables quickly and never came back again. I literally don't think you have to be Japanese to run a good Japanese place, but when you pretend to be Japanese and litterally LIED -- I just cannot trust the whole thing.

When they're busy, their service is a little lacking. I had the experience that I made a reservation, was waited on, served, and and then ate. I paid, I went to the door to get my jacket and the same person that waited me, asked if I had a reservation. But otherwise, their food is amazing. It had some of the most succulent, melt-in-your-mouth, flavorful food I've ever had. Well worth the price.

So unglaublich schlecht.
