After reading the reviews on line about the hotel my husband said well we will make our own minds up when we get there. Well we cannot praise up the hotel enough. From the moment we walked through the door early and was all made to feel very welcome from the receptionist, yes maybe the carpet on the stairs is frayed a little, and the lift is a little small but who cares, my daughter and husband loved having a race to the fifth floor to see who was fastest, think it ended up a draw. As for our room we couldn't fault it,yes the safe didn't work when we first got there but that wasn't the hotel's fault, just the last guest who decided they wanted the battery from it. After being up for more than 17 hours the bed and pillows were very comfortable and my husband said he had the best few nights sleep he has had in years. As for the shower it worked fine and was very good. And as for the breakfast it had everything you could ask for , rolls meats cheeses cereal fruit eggs juice tea coffee. The staff always so helpful, my daughter had her German phrase book and the male receptionist used to ask he for a new German word every day, which she loved. Even on our day for checking out, 3am in the morning, we was all given a packed breakfast to have at the airport. We will be going back to Berlin one day and would love to go back to the hotel. Thanks for making our...
Read moreDear potential customers, If you are an international person who believes in multicultural atmosphere you would rather think twice before you stay in this hotel.
Very rude and disrespectful early shift receptionist, we think he was racist to us, he treated us differently based on our nationality and on my wife headscarf. We went down to have a breakfast at 9AM, we finished our breakfast at 9:30 which is the time when the breakfast ends as per the hotel timetable, however there were other people still having their breakfast and we were the only couple just having a cup of tea. The receptionist did not approach any other German customers and he came directly to us and asked us disrespectfully to leave the restaurant. We told him that we are just having a cup of tea and there was still another table with German customers having their breakfast why you just came to us, he answered those are private guests, and he kept coming to us and treating us like we are the only one still sitting in the restaurant. we left the restaurant and there were still some other German customers having their breakfast. Later in the same day we called him to ask for an iron machine he rudely told us to come downstairs to pick it ourselves, what a 3 stars hotel treat its...
Read moreThe hotel is located at Charlottenburg area on Konstanzer Straße 60 and very near to the UBahn station of Konstanzer Straße and bus stop of Olivaer Platz. It is very well connected and cheaper than many other hotels in the area, which provide dormitories for the price of an individual hotel room here. The restaurant under is closed for indefinite time, which is kind of a boon as it gives reason to stray away into the area, which is really beautiful and has tons of multicuisine options just 300m to 2kms radius. Staffs, Mr.Dimitry (jolly, conversational, and funny) and Mr. Ethan (serious, helpful, and informative) are really nice recipients. The cleaning lady was so nice that she even tidied our clothes we forgot to straighten before leaving our rooms. The beds are nice and soft, and the blankets are cosy. The bathroom is a delight. Overall, I doubt there would be any better options for the location and the stay quality. The rooms are a little small, we had no view, the lift is a mess (it takes ages to reach 5th floor and if you open the inside door before it reaches and stabilizes itself you get suspended and doors dont open, can be a bit scary so kindly have patience with it), but that is all...
