Don't remember when I was treated so badly. I was in the area and I had a problem. I urgently needed to make a call when I realised that my internet is gone. This was the closest place, I went in and told the barista that I really need to make a call and asked if I can connect to wifi. I had an intention to take a coffee or breakfast after that ... but even before I asked I felt that she was not friendly at all. She told me the password but showed with all her presence that she doesn't want to help and that she is annoyed by me. The password didn't work and I double checked with her ( she continues to reply in this rude manner), didn't work again and I asked if she could check my spelling. Irritated, she asked if I wanted a coffee ... thanks for th treating me like a wallet. She was afraid she wouldn't receive 3 euros at the end... Lack of compassion is the reason we live what we live now. But it's not like this everywhere. I live in Greece for many years and this situation is impossible there. We are here to support each other. I don't remember what I replied but I wish I could say to her "no I don't want a coffee made by you". I really don't feel like drinking or eating from the hands of a person with bad energy. Although if WiFi would work, I definitely would buy a cake or something...but it didn't so I went to Spati across where the Turkish seller was happy to help me. I really think that people who have problems and cannot be polite with others should not work in...

My recommendations: A) Do not tell your customers who want to pay: everyone has his/her place in a line. Use a more gentle tone. Or allow more staff members to collect the money. Or organise the work in a different way. Or train the staff to handle situations with a lot of customers and not be overwhelmed.
B) Have the tables cleaned regularly. If sticky, it is a bit off-putting even for Berlin.
C) Don't let the staff check on customers who are sitting alone during working days every few minutes creating an atmosphere that they are not welcomed in the Venue. Except if it is a part of the concept.
D) You have a really cool design. Don't turn into yet another inconvenient place. Add a welcoming note to the Berliner Schnauze Style (which you were...
Read moreHad to remove two stars from my last review, as I was there yesterday at 1:30 pm and they had run out of bread?!? My friends and I first of all could not understand how a brunch (!) restaurant runs out of bread (don’t you have some frozen for emergencies?) and why none of the staff just went and bought some at one of the bakeries around the corner. We had the impression the staff did not really seem to be bothered by this nor did they seem motivated to even try to find a solution… the food was delicious but breakfast food without bread felt very unsatisfying. I’m not sure if I will be back or would recommend this place. Very unfortunate!
The brunch is excellent! Depending on which items you choose for your brunch, the food can obviously be more filling or a little lighter, but I definitely wouldn’t say portion sizes are too small. The prices are fair since they use good ingredients and every dish is special! My favourite is the fried cauliflower. We left feeling full, satisfied...
