Had a terrible experience here. You don’t expect bar staff to be aggressive towards customers, but that’s what we experienced tonight.

We had a table of 8 people, and while some of the group were outside smoking, one of the members of staff took it upon himself to take the vacant seats, without asking, and relocate them to his friends table. When our group came back inside, one friend asked why the chairs had been removed and was immediately accosted by the same member of staff who had removed them.

He offered no explanation as to why the seats had been taken, and took an aggressive stance against my friend when questioned. The member of staff (Brazilian man in his early twenties as informed by a member of the group) squared up to one of the members of my group and threatened another, speaking in Portuguese to her, saying he would “break her face”. The man himself was wearing a blue tracksuit, jacket and trousers. His aggression to our party was unprovoked and unacceptable.

The only reason I specify the identity of the man responsible for the mistreatment of the clientele is because he was the only abusive member of staff on shift. The other members of staff were amicable, but offered no assistance when their customers were being threatened with assault by a member of their own team. Yesterday didn't let me in without any legal right, because I had a QR and a negative schnelltest which I made specially to enter this bar. The staff doesn't know or doesn't follow the rule of 2G+ : 2G plus (2G+) means in the sense of the NRW Ministry of Health: Access or participation only for vaccinated and recovered people who must also be tested. Not letting me get in with all the provided documents I see as an act of violencing my rights and an act of fascism. Really cute and cosy bar 5m from the Rathaus Neukölln Ubahn Station. The shabby chic bar has 3 rooms, the middle of which is a nice smoking room with comfy seating - the bar doesn't use any overhead lighting, only dimmed lights or candle nights so perfect for a date or for people overstimulated by overhead lights. There is tables outside if you go early enough. The bartender's were really nice and friendly and you don't have to wait 20 Minutes to get served beer even when it's very busy. Overall a great...
