Really tasty food for small'ish prices, always worth a visit.
Edit: About 10 months and approximately 75 orders later, I have to adjust my review a little bit, because there are 3 things bothering me. The sandwiches are still 10 stars, absolutely delicious and I love them so much that I eat them at least twice a week. Sadly, the amount of filling you get does vary quite a bit, depending on the server and time of day. The sandwiches are nice but the plate dishes are actually a little rip off, considering that its not much more than a sandwitch for about double the price tag. The service is SUPER slow as soon as there are more than 2 people in the restaurant. More than once, I actually left because a sandwich that takes 1 min to put together would have had a 30+ min waiting time tag on it. They do everything strictly in order, the place would GREATLY benefit from a dedicated take out server.
Still one of the best Shawarma places I know, but it starts to get a...
Read moreFood was great , service was slacking . When I arrived, I stood in front the guy at the counter and he just ignored it, so after a minute I asked him if it’s a table service or self service so he told me to sit. I set down and no one came to speak to me/ take any order. After couple of minutes he asked me (shouting) from the counter what do I want, so I ordered shawarma plate with 2 merguez sausages. The food was filling and tasted good. The merguez tasted just like my parents make it. When I finished eating and noticed no one comes to give me the check , I went to the counter again to pay . That’s when they told me that I can’t pay with card and only cash. Luckily and surprisingly I had 20 euros note (but I usually don’t care cash on me). If the experience and service was better this could have been a restaurant I’d come to and try other dishes but I wasn’t feeling welcomed nor invited to stay so will try...
Read moreFood is fresh and tasty. Too bad the portions are so small. In a vegetarian mix plate you get falafel, hallumi, magalai, salat, tabouleh, spreads and kuskus - yet only a small taste of each. 1 piece falafel, 1 piece hallumi. How should this be fulfilling for someone paying 8,9 euros- to get a very decorated large plate(as if its a gourmet fine dining restaurant..) in an Arabien imbis, a kitchen which is known for its generous portions, when thr plate is nearly half full? Onw couls scrape everything they put on the plate to one wide of it and it will neaely be half full. Dont come with...
