Service / Experience:
Let me start with my experience, This place is run by an older indian couple. I went to this place twice during a week stay at Bochum. First time I went alone, was hungry ordered a decent quantity of food for one person. The service was very caring and warm. Next time I went with a couple of friends and we were not that hungry. We ordered just one sabzi, rice and roti. The owner asked us: any drinks, we said no just water is good. For that he gave us a stare and told: "drinks bhi nahi bus ek sabzi .. bas itna hi !!!" put his hand on his forehead and left, this is appalling behavior.
Food:
First time around the veggie biryani was good but way too spicy. Also ordered a mixed veg platter, which was again having raw chilli powder on the top making it very spicy.
Second time around ordered a paneer Tikka masala and naan. The food was definitely better the second time but the service utterly bitter.
Overall:
When ever I travel to another country and meet indians who are running restaurants for a living, I really feel happy and want to support them. Getting indian food in bochum is pretty hard, but still would avoid this place because of...

While picking it up, my hand accidentally touched the plate and it moved slightly. To my surprise, the owner said to me in Hindi, “the plate is 10 euros, more costly than what you are going to order.”
As an Indian guest, I felt this was extremely rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. No customer should be spoken to in such a manner, especially over something so trivial. The comment left me feeling singled out and unwelcome.
Restaurants should focus on hospitality and respect toward all customers. Unfortunately, my experience here was...
Read moreBEST CURRY HOUSE IN GERMANY We are brits living in Germany the past 9 years, we love a curry and have been searching for a decent curry house since moving here. I have to say, this is the best one we have been to and the first to feel like we had a curry 'like back home'. AND, to top it off, the restaurant was very pleasant, nice atmosphere, very fast & attentive service and a good price. You could tell the dishes had been marinated and cooked in the sauce and the breads & dips were 109% handmade. We we’ve served by the owner and his wife, they obviously took pride in there restaurant and were very friendly and welcoming. They both spoke German and English. Honestly, 5 stars...
