All I knew of Turkish cuisine was Turkish Pizza!!!

Today we decided to try this place after asking my mom what she'd like to eat. She has been a huge fan of Turkish cuisine for a very long time so we started looking for a good restaurant nearby, and we found this to be the best looking and nicest reviews in the neighborhood, and we chose the best!

The experience started with a very welcoming gentleman, this being one of the owners of this AMAZING restaurant. Super kind person, showed us to our seat really quickly too.

The kindness of the staff didn't end there!!! The waiter who came to ask for our orders was really a sweetheart! Very friendly, smiley and above all super fun! Took our order the nicest way possible! Honestly, what is this place? Heaven!?

The starters came really quick! The taste... Delicious! My mom and my partner loved their starters! My partner even said this was his second best Cheese starter in a decade!! And my Wine Leaves were the best I have ever had.

It took a while to get the main courses, but the waiting time did not disappoint! My main course was really but really good! The meat was soft just like it said on the menu, the way I like it! I had two different types of rice, tomato rice and butter rice, loved both, but the butter rice was on another level, really yummy! Both my partner and my mom loved their starters too, although my mom found it to be a bit too much. Also to add, the waiter that served us throughout the night also brought my special salad, with only green leaves just like I asked. Now that is good service!

The prices are quite reasonable too, especially when you are welcomed with such amazing service, and fed amazing food!

The place itself is gorgeous, the only thing I'd love to see a little different is the kitchen, did not completely match the rest of the restaurant, but it's a nice touch to be able to see what the people in the kitchen are cooking.

Our expectations were surpassed. Starting off with a super nice service, even though there was no English menu the waiter told us not to worry and that’s someone will help us. He called a super friendly waitress that spoke English and explained everything to us helping us with food recommendations and taking her time. Thankfully we made a reservation a day before and it was worth it. Even though the place was packed, the food came surprisingly quickly. It was amazing. Having experienced authentic cuisine in Turkey we must say that this was one of the best that we ate in Europe. The koftes were super aromatic, the parsley on the side was very crispy and fresh making a nice meal together with delicious rice and bulgur. We highly recommend mixed grilled meat. Every single piece was juicy and tender. The portions were so big that we could order one meal to share however we feel that the whole dinner was 100% worth its price. We also decided to grab a dessert to go - a pudding with pistachio and pomegranate. It was very tasty. Overall if we ever come back to Bonn we will definitely come back. We highly recommend. The atmosphere is very modern and nice. The food was very good, everything we had was delicious. We went there as a family and ordered some starters but also mains. BUT the mains took over 1:15' to come. They realised only after we told them that the food is late. They panicked a little and then let us know that our food was given to another table. Strange because how did they have the exact same things as us? When we told them that we were upset, because one of us had a night shift and needed to leave on time, the waiter gave us 1 small coca cola bottle for free!! Ridiculous! We asked for the bill as we were in a rush. I had chicken and because there was no sauces left I asked the waiter if I could have a small dip for my chicken. He came to the table, took the bill and charged is 3€ for the dip. Not only that but the dip didn't come quickly so I was almost finished with my food even we reminded them 3 times for the dip. This action was really unheard of! How can you treat your customers like that? Over 1 hour late, no compensation and extra charge for a small dip. I would be ashamed.
