Let’s start with the good!

The food here is amazing! Super tasty, all really well done and with care, it shows!

I had the Bruschetta Classica as a starter, and it was really yummy, just missed one thing, garlic, didn’t really taste any on them, but it was still super good! Added some olive oil from the table, and voilà!

For the main course I had Fettuccine Salmone. Honestly the best I have ever had in any Italian restaurant! The salmon was full of taste, and so was everything else!

Now the bad…

The service… it was probably some of the worst I have ever experienced. The ignorance… it was too obvious, some of the staff ignored our table completely, they’d look at us and see that we were calling them and then look away super fast to pretend they did not see us. Some people arrived quite a while after us and still got their food faster! Even with the bill!!! We asked for the bill, the waiter would ‘be right back’ and never came, so we asked someone else, this waiter did listen and made the bill, and the person we originally asked for the bill came with the bill at last!

Seriously, if you can not cope with stress of having a full house, maybe you should not allow so many guests in! Simple. Or hire more people, but that would be difficult, as the restaurant was packed with waiters, that is why we did not understand why we kept being ignored.

I still recommend this place as it is one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been, the service may have been far from okay yesterday, but the first time I visited on the 4th of December the service was actually very good! And it was also quite busy. On the 4th I would have given this restaurant 5 stars, but the incident of yesterday made me give this place 3 stars. The food is amazing, no doubt, and that is why I am still recommending this place, the restaurant itself is also quite fancy looking, super beautiful!

Will be coming back soon, hopefully the service is better, then I’ll be ready to give this...

We visited Tuscolo with high expectations for quality food but unfortunately were let down by the low standards.

While the pizza was acceptable the presentation left a lot to be desired. Served whole on a plate that is too small, the large pizza overlaps the edge of the plate proving to be a challenge just cutting it.

The lasagne on the otherhand was bland and microwaved to order. Which ultimately proved to be a challenge for the kitchen considering both lasagne ordered on our table came out barely warm in the middle. After sending it back to the kitchen it was returned 5 minutes later having been microwaved further. Despite the second round in the microwave, the damage was already done and not 5 minutes after leaving the restaurant I developed "digestive upset".

So with all things considered I find it hard to rate Tuscolo any higher...

Es war eine Enttäuschung. Wir waren im Restaurant im April dieses Jahres zusechst mit zwei Freunden, die uns diesen Ort empfohlen haben. Alles hat gut angefangen und wurde mit einer Enttäuschung beendet. Ich bin wirklich nicht die Person, die negative Rezensionen schreibt. Aber meine persönliche Erfahrung war maximal unangenehm, und so höhe Noten finde ich ungerecht. Essen: vier Personen haben Cocktails bestellt, inkl. mein Freund. Er wurde gefragt, ob sein Cocktails süß oder sauer sein sollte. Er hat einen süßen bestellt. Der Cocktail hat gefühlt nur aus einem Limettensaft bestanden. Ich möchte nicht wissen, wie sauere Cocktails schmecken. Eine Freundin hat ihr Cocktail neu machen lassen. Einige haben eine Vorspeise + einen Hauptgang bestellt, andere nur einen Hauptgang. Am Tisch kamen Pizzas zuerst. Die Pizza, die ich probiert habe, war übrigens okay, aber ich hatte ein Past-Gericht bestellt. Die Pasta-Gerichte kamen nach 20 Minuten! 20 MINUTEN! Das heißt eine Hälfte von uns sollte entweder eine kalte Pizza essen, oder schon gegessen haben. Unser Salat, offensichtlich Vorspeise, dazu haben wir auch zwei Teller gefragt, weil mein Freund und ich teilen wollten, kam direkt nach meiner Pasta, ohne Teller. Meine Ravioli waren super heiß, aber Öl hat sich schon getrennt (Foto unten). So ein fettiges Gericht hatte ich lange nicht gegessen. Die waren auch definitiv nicht selbstgemacht und einer billigen Sorte. Ein Tiramisu, das einige Freunde, die Pizza schon fertig gegessen haben, als ich und andere Pasta bekommen haben, bestellt haben, war auch super fettig und zu süß. Ambiente: Der Tisch war oben. Das ganze Restaurant erinnert eine Taverne irgendwo in Italien, was gut ist. Auf Wünsch anderen Gästen (mit einem Kind und Kinderstuhl), sollten wir unseren Tisch verschieben. An sich finde ich es in Ordnung, aber als Ergebnis saßen wir direkt unter einem starken Ventilator. Der laut der Bedienung nicht ausschalbar war. Alle Fenster waren auf und mir war ganze Zeit kalt. Weswegen ich danach zwei Wochen krank war. Musik war maximal laut, ich könnte mein Gegenüber nicht hören und sollte ganze Zeit auch laut reden. Bedienung: außer der Sache mit den vergessen Tellern zum Salat habe ich nichts auszusetzen. Es war das einzige Gute an dem...
