Tucked into one of the narrow, cobbled lanes of Bremen’s enchanting Schnoor Quarter, the Konditorei Café im Schnoor is the kind of place that invites you to slow down, breathe in the scent of fresh pastries, and simply enjoy the moment. It’s not just a café—it’s part of the atmosphere of this fairytale district.

One of the highlights on the menu is the Flammkuchen—Germany’s answer to pizza, though it’s something entirely its own. Crispy, thin dough topped with crème fraîche, onions, bacon or veggies, it’s light, savory, and totally satisfying.

And then come the sweets. The café offers a delightful selection of cakes, including the raspberry (Himbeertorte) and strawberry cake (Erdbeertorte)—each one bursting with flavor and freshness. Whether you pair it with a smooth coffee or a cold Beck’s beer, it’s the kind of treat that tastes even better surrounded by cobblestones and history.

Inside, the café has a warm and inviting ambiance: rustic wooden furniture, soft lighting, and the gentle background of pleasant music that makes the space feel even more welcoming. Whether you’re sitting by the window watching people wander through the Schnoor or tucked into a corner with a book, it’s easy to lose track of time in the best way.

In short, Konditorei Café im Schnoor is the perfect stop for a relaxing break in Bremen—delicious food, cozy charm, friendly atmosphere, and music that makes everything feel just right. A true...

EXTREMLY RUDE! DONT GO! I first asked to try one flavor of ice cream. Immediate no. Most places allow that but okay… Then while sitting eating my ice cream the worker from inside the store tells me to leave because I’m taking up space for cafe guests. She had long dark brown hair up in a pony tail. However I had bought ice cream but because I like my ice cream in a waffle cone I’m not allowed to sit there, only if you get ice cream in a cup. There were a bunch of chairs available and I couldn’t even sit at one to the side… So in conclusion if you want to enjoy your ice cream, don’t go here.

I see all the reviews are due to bad service so maybe you should hire some new staff… It’s what’s making you the worst rated ice cream place in...

very poor service! we came, bought ice cream and sat down at the table. very soon the manager came up to us and said that we should move to the table, on which the chairs were already fastened with a lock. but it is impossible to sit on the chairs tied with a lock! we said we were already finishing up and leaving, but the manager insisted that we leave right now. she said she wanted to go home because she was tired of working. and we sit on chairs without permission, because if we want to sit on chairs, they sell ice cream at a different price. this is the first time I have met such a terrible attitude towards customers. also, the manager and the seller discussed visitors (in a negative way). I definitely don't recommend...

Nice cake BUT RUDE service. The cashier lady with glasses is so far the most impolite and rude staff that we met in Germany. Once we told her we just want to order a cake without drink, she just rolled her eyes and walked away. This shows no respect at all and gives a terrible impression. I don’t recommend anyone to go.
