Peter Pane — Restaurant in Bremen

I've been to this restaurant for many years now. (PP Weserpark Bremen)

It has become very precious to me, and the food is so good that I specifically eat there whenever I have a down-phase. I once made the promise to myself that I would first have a burger at Peter Pane before doing anything rash, and I'm still here so that's saying something. They did unfortunately ditch my favorite non-alcoholic cocktail, the "Red Temple", but there's still so many great options to choose from that it barely matters.

This place is popular, therefore longer wait times are expected during peak hours. You can tell, however, that the kitchen never rushes a burger. All burgers have been peak, every single time.

The service is great as well. I'd love to see more active personell to have the workload more evenly divided (especially on busy days / weekends) but overall this never had a negative impact on the service i've received.

Special greetings to Sylvia, who handed me this review card after yet another good visit on the 3rd of September. The amount of energy she invests into serving customers with a captivating cheerful attitude and openness is extremely impressive. Service is a tough field to work in, but she's always pushing for 101% satisfaction, without compromise.

Given how stuffed this place gets on busy days, the team is doing a crazy-good job at delivering consistently immaculate meals and crafting a very unique and refreshing atmosphere. The menu keeps steadily evolving , with seasonal options frequently refreshing the sea of great options to choose from.

The food was nice and the staff friendly! It wasn’t the first time I visited the place after all (5 stars so far). There was no option for a reservation so we had to wait for a table. Which is absolutely fine. Two of us eventually got in and sat on a 4-people-table while the rest two of our friends, who arrived a bit later, were not allowed to pass through although they informed the person in the entrance that we were waiting for them. I completely understand and respect all the COVID measurements which were met by both sides, us as clients, you as business. However, letting people in the queue for 27 minutes when they do not seek for a tablet, rather they already have one waiting for them is a lot annoying and neither made easier the life of the rest of your potential visitors who kept on waiting. One more example is that before my friends got in, a person before them had to do a self-test in front of you. In the meanwhile, no one was able to enter until the test was done, while there were bunch of empty tables, cleaned and disinfected (so, -3 stars for all that). It didn’t seem...

Wir waren am letzten Mittwoch (02.07.25) wieder in unserem geliebten Peter Pane. Wir besuchen diese Location schon seid mehreren Jahren regelmäßig und waren mittlerweile an sehr vielen Standorten ( zb. Timmendorf, Oldenburg, Bremen, Osnabrück, Braunschweig). Wir waren immer wieder begeistert von der gleich gebliebenen Qualität und dem hervorragenden Geschmack. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis hat gestimmt. Da bezahlt man gerne ein paar Euro mehr. Doch am Mittwoch dann die große Enttäuschung. Wir bestellten bei einem sehr hektischen jungen Mann so wie immer Burger mit doppeltem Black Angus Patty. Doch was dann kam war nicht das zarte, im Mund zerfallene Black Angus Fleisch. Oh nein. Wir fragten sofort bei einer anderen sehr freundlichen und engagierten jungen Dame was wir da denn auf den Teller haben, denn es war definitiv kein Black Angus. Und siehe da Peter Pane hat, wie uns die nette Dame erzählte, seinen Fleischlieferanten gewechselt. Das wurde leider vom ersten Kellner nicht erwähnt. Die Pattys kommen nämlich nicht mehr aus Deutschland sondern aus Irland und nennen sich jetzt ,,Irish Prime Burger,, . Das Patty war ein gummihaftes, geschmackloses, gepresstes Etwas. Ich weiß, das klingt hart aber wir haben es so empfunden. Uns war der Appetit komplett vergangen und wir haben uns natürlich auch sofort beschwert. Preise von über 20 Euro pro Burger die nicht mal schmecken finden wir sehr traurig. Burger an jedem Imbiss sind nach heutigem Stand leider besser. Wir sind treue Stammkunden gewesen die sehr traurig über diese Entwicklung sind. Ach ja wir sind Burger erfahren und erlauben uns dieses Urteil zu fällen. Bewertung alt ( 5 Sterne ): Wir waren gestern Nachmittag im Restaurant. Das Ambiente ist sehr toll und das Essen jedes mal sehr lecker. Bemängeln müssen wir diesmal allerdings den sehr schlechten Service. Unser Tisch war nicht geputzt und und die Getränkereste vom Vorgänger auf dem Tisch und am Boden wurden nicht weggewischt. Die Nachbartische wurden während unseres Aufenthaltes nicht abgeräumt, obwohl die Bedienung zig mal daran vorbei ging. Nach dem Wechsel der Bedienung um ca. 16 Uhr wurde dann zügig abgeräumt.
