We decided for our dinner to make a reservation for 5 persons at the restaurant Kvartier! Inside the restaurant, it is nicely decorated with some textures and pictures. The friendly personell showed us our table and we became the menu cards. After a short time the drinks ordered and served. A good variety on the menu card makes it easy to choose. One of the dishes is the rumpfsteak with baked potatoes union rings and paprika sauce. As extra a small portion of fresh and crispy salads, it tastes delicious. Traditional german meals prepared on modern style. Was recommended by local friend - great food and beer. Food was excellent - snitzel meat in sauce with potato and veggies prepared so you can taste every bite. Beer was domestic and by story this is an old traditional Bremen beer that production stoped but now, few years ago, it started again. Beer is not excellent but still very good. Wir waren abends mit Freunden dort. Schickes Lokal...., auf den ersten Blick. Als wir einen Stuhl umstellen wollten fiel die Sitzfläche zu Boden, zwei andere Stühle hatten Risse im Polster. Grundsätzlich nicht weiter tragisch, wenn man nicht als schick und modern gelten möchte. Ich mag auch gerne gut bürgerliche Küche aber was einem bei den "Happen" Preis-Leistung mäßig angeboten wird ist schon frech. Pro Glas (bei bis zu drei Happen) wird 4,-€ genommen. Wir hatten von fast allem was auf der Karte zu finden war etwas bestellt. Geschmacklich: naja, darüber kann man bekanntlich streiten aber das Häufchen Kartoffelbrei was definitiv aus der Pulverpackung kam schmeckte dementsprechend. Und leider steckte das Stück Fisch tief drin. Was aber wirklich frech ist: ein Gläschen einfache Gewürzgurken für 4,-€!!! Ein Gläschen Schmalz mit zwei Röstzwiebeln oben drauf für 4,-€!!! Dazu ging nach kurzer Zeit das Haake Beck Kräusen aus, war einfach alle. Schon schlimm genug aber als wir auf Hanseat 2.0 umsteigen wollten (was in der Onlinekarte zu finden ist) wurde uns mitgeteilt das es das gar nicht gibt. Zur Bedienung: sehr freundlich und wie sagt man so schön: sie war bemüht. Immer wieder wurden Getränke vergessen, immer mal wieder Gäste mit leeren Gläsern nicht gefragt usw.
