❤️ Definitely my favorite place in Cochem.

The garden is so cozy and inviting, the whole atmosphere allows you to slow down, take a glass of wine and relax while enjoying the view of the river and the mountains.

I spent my evening reading, sun bathing and drinking grape juice. What a mood!

Notes:

1.There's self service in the outside area, this means you have to go inside, pay for what you want to drink or eat and then bring it to your table. ( They accept both cash and card)

The food options are limited, they offer snacks as olives, mini pretzels, crackers and bread. For desserts, they have waffels, cake and other 2 options.

There's no dinner or lunch

The wine options are broad and they also offer alcohol free drinks, cocktails and coffee.

There's no sprite, cola, or any other soda's.

This is a place to grab a sit and enjoy without rush. It's made to savour the wine, escape a little bit from the busy areas and watch the sunset.

Cannot say enough good things about this place. It is such a cozy bistro/wine bar! We went there 2 out of 3 of our evenings in Cochem. One evening we sat outside in the garden and it was soooo relaxing to look at the setting sun, and the river. The other night we sat inside and despite being quite loud and busy at first, later or it was also very relaxing. There are also some board games you can play or look through wine books/magazines. But of course despite cozyness, it is also a wine bar. You can order from a wide variety of local wines. But you can also do a mini self wine tasting - you can pick 4 different wines and you can get them served with little explanation on cards about each of them. Great way to try many of the different wines they have there. We also took a snacks package and it was delicious. The place to be in Cochem. I will break down the 5 stars: 1 star for the ambiance. Great garden in summer and lovely modern interior. Al lot of places in Cochem are really outdated. Not Hieronimi! Fresh, clean, modern and with ambiance. 1 star for the staf. Friendly and prompt service. Yes, it is self-service. But with a smile! And really fast delivery in the garden. 1 star for the prices. Just honest prices for wine and snacks. Great variety of wines of course. 1 star for quality. The snacks are limited but of high quality. They are also presented in a really nice way.
