Et Da Vinci Cochem — Restaurant in Cochem

This place looked really good, unfortunately I didn't get to experience any of the food. I walked in, said hello (got replies from 2 waiters and another saw me) and sat down. It was busy but after 15 mins of being walked past again and again I left. I don't speak German so I felt uncomfortable speaking up. But I was definitely noticed, just ignored?

I already knew exactly what I wanted to order so if anyone had come and asked if I wanted a drink or tried to give me a menu I could have ordered straight away. I made eye contact with one of the waitresses like 10 times. Saw another table get visited 3 times just across from me. I even slowly put my scarf and jacket back on which she saw, but still no one approached me.

Maybe they don't like single diners? It was over an hour and a half before close so I was really stumped as to why. I walked back out in to the rain, was really sad so I had ice...

I had an excellent meal here with my partner in a nice atmosphere. The spaghetti with salmon, cream and garlic had just the right taste and texture. This dish was filling. The Italian pizza had a nice thin crust and was well balanced with delicious fresh ingredients. This was a slightly lighter meal. The dry Riesling tasted very good and it was served in large elegant wine glasses. Prices seemed a bit on the high side to me at first, but that turned out to be not that bad after all. Especially considering the quantity and high quality and the free bread with herb butter as a starter. I highly recommend...

The menu on Google doesn't compare with the actual Menu there. No steak at all, then I ordered a primitivo from the menu 25,90. I was pretty curious about that wine definitely because it's an Italian restaurant, but then they came with a very familiar wine brand that's almost available in any supermarket. (Doppio Passo) wine bottle. Normal price? 8,99 euro. I mean come on if you sell a primitivo for 25,90 don't come with supermarket wine. I can understand wine cost more in restaurants but for that price you could choose a better one in my opinion..
