Very cozy, clean and interesting decorated. The food was very tasty, the local beer was amazing. Friendly staff, great view from the terasse on the second floor. The things I did not like -we didn't get our cassa ticket with our bill, and we ordered 2 dishes that supposed to cost 11 euro each but why we had to pay 48 euros, I have no idea. We had 2 dishes from 11 euro, 2 beers,2 small salads and a cappuccino. I can't comment what are the prices because no cassa ticket...if we go next time in Cochem we definitely will fo back to the same restaurant. And no bank cards accepted, we had to pay only cash.

We went to this place just because they had beautiful panoramic view of the Mosel river and it was totally worth it. We enjoyed the summer breeze with some beer and Hugo. The quantity of Hugo was very less. For lunch we had the classic “Fish n Chips” and some “Pork Steak”. Again the quantity was very less for what we paid and steak was really basic with a bit of dryness. Cards are not accepted here so we had to walk a long way to withdraw some cash out of ATM. Just a warning to have cash in hand before visiting this place. Otherwise amazing view, great staffs but slow service.

A big NO-GO, Way overpriced restaurant, Very bad attitude of waiters, Even on ordering small drinks, we were served medium sized and had to pay for them, The food was so basic and tasteless, that you can make a dish (for which they charge 15€) in 2-3€ at home, We had Flammkuchen & Ofenkartoffeln and I haven't tasted anything worse so far ...

Kulinarische Vergangenheit verpflichtet. Hier aber wurde sie versalzen, verkocht...

The place is only worth for the view to the Mosel. When asking for bread for the Soup was only possible buy by ordering a new side dish.

The service (waitresses) was not welcoming (no please, no thank, not asking if everything was ok, when bringing the main course , they expected us to make space on table). It started when we arrived where we had the feeling to be pressured to order.

The food itself was not good. It seems they use a lot of convenience products - at least what we tried (schnitzel, Backfisch and tomatoe soup).

With respect to the price levels, they are above the average in Cochem. And truth be told, it's not worth it.

Unfortunately we saw these reviews when we were already there. So please don't make the same mistake. When we left, we told a group of people who was considering going there, to go and find another place - and...

The location is great but that's about it. That's the only star they deserve. It's obvious that none of the food was home made but bought bottom self pre-prepped. And even that they couldn't cook right. I had to return my pork steak as it was still bleeding raw. The over-baked schnitzel one of us had looked like it had been already reheated at least once before. On top of that, the waitress should be removed from customer service. I asked if i could change my side potatoes to a side salad and got the answer with a major attitude "No! because salad is more expense than potatoes so we don't do that. But you can order an extra side salad". My recommendation: no matter how hungry-...
